Creative Pools And Spas

I recently bought a house with a pool and had no idea how to take care of it. Brandon came out and helped me drain the tarp the previous owner had anchored down (with concrete blocks) that was filled with water and about to drag the blocks into the pool. He opened it up and showed me how to operate the pump and when to run each function. He also explained the pool chemicals and what to do to keep the pool fresh for swimming. The valve to shut off the main and skimmer ports was extremely hard to maneuver, so a couple of weeks later I had Brandon install a ball valve that works much better. At the store, his wife has been extremely helpful every time I go in and ask questions. Both have been patient with me (I ask a lot of questions) and have explained things in ways I can understand clearly and have provided tidbits of knowledge to save me money. I feel valued every time I talk to them. They are honest and show a lot of genuine integrity.

DO NOT use them to build you a pool, you will regret it....unless you like rain water and contaminants flowing into your pool...and a crooked diving board that the installer (Brandon voided the warranty on by enlarging hole in the base)...and a salt water generator installed upside down reverse of the water flow...your pool ground wire 3 feet short of reaching the box...pipes sticking up out of the ground..damage to your yard, your neighbors yard and a damaged sprinkler system....with leaking water features...

They came to our house to work on an old hot tub of ours. There were going to search for a part and get back to my husband with the cost but never did. Not a word.

This is our first experience with Creative Pools. Although Brandon and his helper had to work around several days of rainy weather, the work was performed at a high level of quality and in a timely manner. The job entailed about 2 1/2 days of work for Brandon and his helper. Brandon was very professional throughout the project and took care to protect the pool and furniture by masking off the entire area. Brandon actually applied 3 coats of sealer to the entire deck. We are happy with the results and will use Creatvie Pools in the future for our other swimming pool needs.

I paid Brandon Hammond 66% of the overall cost on 5/17/2012 my main request was for the pool to be completed by my birthday at the end of June. He said no problem. I was able to swim in my pool for the first time 8/27/12. Brandon had someone begin digging on 5/24/2012. After digging days went by before any additional work was done. First I was told that there was a large boulder in the pool area and it would have to be broken up. This was the beginning of a series of excuses one after another. The next major excuse was his father was in the hospital. Then his father was diagnosed with cancer and was dying and then his father died. I checked all of this out and it was true but it does not explain why the pool was not finished for 3 months. Do not think I am heartless because I was very understanding since my husband died in December 2011 from melanoma. I was very understanding and sympathetic however; when you are in business you have to run the business. It took so long to get anything done then we had a lot of rain. Basically it was Brandon and 1 guy doing all the work. They would not show up until after 10am and then work a few hours and then disappear. Many times I would not see thm for days until I called asking him what his plan was. I was patient and understanding with him to a fault. I ended up asking my daughter in-law to assist me in getting some results. Finally when I was able to put water in the pool and everything seemed to be running, the wall still was not showing any signs of completion, I told Brandon I was going to get someone else to do the wall. I had several problems with pipes leaking around the pump and the worst was the skimmer was not working. It turned out there was concrete in the pipe. This was repaired by Brandon after several attempts. The pool pump now is so loud you can't relax when you are on my deck. I discussed this with Brandon and he said he would swap it out. I am still waiting and in the mean time I have another leak around the pipes at the filtration system. In additiona there are still some other minor issues: the top step on the ladder is not level. There is a small pebble size place in the concrete deck that had chipped out, and there are places in the pool edge that are not smooth.
