"Their customer service is horrible. A supervisor or manager is never available and will call back within 48 business hours. Angela, the customer service representative, told me that she didn't know how to reach the corporate office and for me to look it up online. I have been waiting for weeks and never got a call from any manager. I doubt I will get a call within the next 48 hours, and the installation is supposed to be Thursday morning, which is less than 48 hours. Great sales guy but the rest of the process has been a bad experience. I will not buy anything else from them. I wanted to add a sunroom and 10 more window replacements. It will NOT be from Champion. If I didn't have to get these 4 windows, I would say walk away and do not do any business. I had better customer service from McDonald's' and Burger King than Champion Windows. I regret this purchase. I suggest verifying that you can reach management and supervisors before signing the agreement. If you can't talk to management on the phone upfront, just walk away. Get a company where management is engaged and will help you through issues. I know things happen, but there should be someone that can correct them and resolve concerns promptly and be accessible. This is NOT Champion at all."

"HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE- it's been 2 and a half years and our home is still not finished!!!!!! Poor communication, poor follow-through, poor organization--the owner of this Paul Davis branch caused so much undue stress and out-of-pocket money charges. He looses documents, fails to meet deadlines (told insurance company, mortgage company, and us the job would be done in a year and we are still waiting for it to be done 2 and a half years later). High turn-over is the norm with this branch--we are on our 4th project manager. Things have gone missing in the home, can't provide numbers and spreadsheets documenting costs (only when persistently asked for and having corporate involved does he get one to us), says one thing but then does another. For example, 8 months and running, and they still have not completed painting our house. Many times we agreed on projects and contractors only to turn around and have Paul Davis do something else which always resulted in things going wrong and having to be redone (and costing us out-of-pocket money--for example stairs had to be redone twice because of poor quality and poor oversight for getting someone other than who we agreed on). Custom molding was redone twice after the first time it was done wrong. And many other mistakes which are too exhaustive to list. We had to get corporate involved numerous times and are still waiting for them to help us resolve matters. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! It pains us to have to write such a bad review--but we do not wish anyone else to have to experience what we did (and are still going through)."

Hartland Roofing has been a one-man operation since it's beginning in Lexington, SC in 2005. Wow! Really? How can 1 guy put a roof on by himself? Well, it ain't easy BUT I assure you...it CAN be done and done right! At times, when the job is actually too big for one guy, I do have sub-contractors who come in to help. But, unlike many other roofing companies who "sell" the job, leave the job to unsupervised subs and then show up to collect a check, I am there from start to finish. Because I take a great deal of pride in paying attention to detail my subs are supervised by none other than me. Whether it's just me or the crew of subs I hire to help, you can "rest assured" knowing that your roofing project was completed with great care and done according to the shingle manufacturer's specifications. During the past 7 years serving my customers in the Midlands I have done everything from replacing one shingle that has blown off the roof to replacing the entire roof. One of my specialties is repair work. Whether it's replacing one shingle, a worn pipe boot, flashing that was improperly installed or failing, chasing down a leak - no job is TOO small. Have you ever hired a roofer to diagnose and fix a leak? He shows up with his caulking gun, caulks the leak area, charges you a couple hundred bucks and leaves. A week later it rains cats and dogs and your leak is gone! You are so excited that he took care of your leak until it rains a couple of months later and the leak is back! You call the roofer to tell him your roof is leaking again and he says he will be right over. Up again he goes with caulking gun in hand, comes down and tells you the leak is from a different source and says "that'll be $200 please". Again, you think your leak is taken care of because the next time it rains you don't notice that nagging drip, drip, drip. Well, of course, another month or two passes and sure enough the leak is back! You call "the guy with the caulking gun" because in your frustration that's what he has become..."the guy with the caulking gun". Only this time, he doesn't answer. So, you leave a message...and another...and another. This has been the experience of many folks who have become my customers. AND, sa my customers will attest...I answer my phone! And if by chance, I am unavoidably detained and you do have to leave a message...I DO return phone calls.
