I would have liked to have it replaced but he didn't have the part and couldn't get one until the following Monday. He assured me I didn't really need one and it would pose no danger to just remove it. We also discussed replacing my aging water heater.

+ -1 moreWe recently had Dave as a technician who came out to solve our water crisis. My wife and I cannot say enough good about him and his professionalism while dealing with us. He came out on 3 separate occasions while diagnosing our problem, fixing our problem and then finishing the job. He was not only educational throughout the process but a pleasure to have in our home. What we both liked the best was the fact that he would not accept payment until he came back with the remaining access panel for the last small hole in the wall, stating that he didn't want to take our money until the job was completely finished, even though he fixed our water that day. Granted this is something you should typically expect, seeing and hearing that kind of service often gets overlooked. We would recommend Dave and Vine's Plumbing to anyone in the area. Thanks again!

+ -1 moreFirst day , I waited all day for someone to come. Two men came at 5 minutes to 5 pm and took a picture of the faucet and said they would have to order the hose that was leaking. Waited 11 days, without a kitchen sink. No call back or updates. When I called them I was told get back to you by 5pm, they never did. Called them again on day 12. I was told they were coming that day to install a hose, again no time no update. Called the office at 2 pm told the man was out to lunch and as soon as he finishes his lunch he will get to me. At 2:30pm he showed up with the wrong hose, one that was not a replacement for the one I had. Its 14 days now and I have no recourse but to buy a new faucet that they said they would install for $175.00. Lousy does not begin to cover this extremely unpleasant experience.

Although they us their stable of sub contractors, in all they were in charge of organizing all my possessions, cataloging all my damaged items, clearing out my house completely and putting everything into storage, pulling up my previous wood floor and laying the entire replacement hardwood floor, painting my entire house, replacing my bathroom vanities, replacing my lighting fixtures, completely updating my master shower/bath into an unbelievable party shower, replaced all my doors including my front door, replacing all my bathroom floors tile, replaced all the carpet on my stairs and my upstairs bonus room, and replaced all my kitchen cabinets and counter tops. We are about 60% done and so far everything looks amazing. They have been there for me since day one and I can't wait to see what the home looks like once they are finished in the next few weeks.
Description of Work: Vines name may be misleading as it says only plumbing and restoration. Although plumbing is their specialty they aided me from beginning to end when my home was recently vandalized. They actually cleaned out my entire house for me and placed all my possessions into organized boxes and secured the necessary storage units. They cataloged all the damaged items for the insurance company. They helped come up with a plan to make sure my house was taken care of down to the smallest detail, hired all the qualified subcontractors, and answered every question (and there were many) throughout the entire process without any delay what so ever. I personally dealt mainly with Mike Newsome who was absolutely amazing and a complete life saver for me. I was so overwhelmed when I first saw the state of my home and didn't have a clue where to begin. Mike and Vines Plumbing And Restoration came in and took all the stress and pressure off my plate so I could focus on my day to day life. I also had the pleasure of meeting and working on a more limited level with the owner Rick Vines himself. Wow what a genuinely nice man who always had my best interest at heart. I don't want people to think this review is too positively glowing in it's appreciation for Vines therefor too good to be true but this is absolutely the experience I had. They are a local business that I learned gives back to the community, does amazing work, and genuinely cares about their customers. To me that's all that matters and I would 100% hire them again on future projects. Although I hope it's not due to vandalism ever again. Bryan Campanile.

+ -1 moreThe entire process as managed by Rick was seamless. All work was performed to high standards. Communication with Rick and Vine's Plumbing has been very timely and thorough. This provider is responsive. Rick was on scene at my home within hours of the call. Vine's is a one stop shop that takes most of the stress out of an otherwise traumatic situation. I would not have wanted to go through this process without Rick and Vine's Plumbing and Water Restoration. The repairs were extensive including sub flooring, flooring (tile/engineered flooring/carpet), cabinets, countertops, sheetrock and paneling, wood floor refinishing and paint. They also coordinated other unrelated repairs to A/C system. My experience with this provider has been excellent in every level. I recommend Rick and Vine's without reservation. They should be your first call. Every time.
Description of Work: Rick at Vines Plumbing handled my property insurance claim for substantial water damage, it's remediation and the full repairs. He was the point of contact with my insurance company and the independent claims adjuster. After submitting my claim, Rick handled all other matters related to insurance. He was able to secure an extremely favorable settlement. As a result of the settlement obtained, I was able to upgrade many aspects of the damaged areas with moderate cost and great value to me.

+ -1 moreI had tried to replace a leaking water supply valve for a toilet at my beach condo. I was unable to complete this and had to leave the main water water valve off. I called Vine plumbing reporting the condition and stating a bit of urgency. Everyone I spoke with was professional and concerned. The technician arrived I about 90 minutes and had a new valve in place and the water back on in a out 20 min. I have heard some horror stories about plumbers but Vine plumbing was quick, professional, and reasonable. I recommend them unconditionally.
