Rands Masonry and Son

I am so disappointed with the integrity and quality of workmanship of this company. They poured a concrete pad 3 months ago, that has so many cracks in it, I can play hopscotch. The cracks are the length of the 10 x 20 pad and in two places the width, not to mention the small cracks that continue to appear and adjoin those major cracks. DO NOT USE THIS company. They do not honor their craft. They just take the money and run.

They gave us estimate and never showed up for job.I called and they said will call back tomorrow, never did.I have all this and more in a text. Rand said quote "Do it Youself" Worst customer service I ever experience. Be cautious, be careful. Poor attitude.

Rand and Son showed up promptly and I was thrilled to finally have the addition to my driveway completed. I had an unfortunate experience with my previous worker. He had dug out the area but would not complete the job. Rand and Son, father and son, came out and set to work. My dog made an escape from the house and ran through the concrete and I was absolutely horrified. After some chaos, the situation was under control and I apologized profusely. The dad was quite agitated at first but then said it was okay and they were able to take care of the holes my dog left in the wet cement. A couple days later I noticed some issues with the finished driveway and sent a text with some pictures that the edges were crumbly. I was not expecting such an unprofessional response. They said that it was the fault of my dog (which perhaps it was) but went on to say that they did me a favor, got the job done for 1/2 the price they would charge anyone else. The charged me $2,400. This was not a favor, this was a paid job. Quite a large amount of money. They didn't have to prep the area, it was already done. In addition to the crumbly edges, the concrete does not line up to the original driveway, there is a lip. Also the texture of the finished concrete is not smooth like my original driveway. I've asked them for a receipt THREE TIMES, and they will not provide it. I am not an unreasonable person and appreciated them coming out so promptly to take care my problem. And I could live with the imperfections of the driveway. I take responsibility for my dog. However, it was the attitude and unprofessional behavior displayed when I voiced my concerns that drove this review. I still do not have a receipt.

I can not say enough about Rand’s! They came out for estimate when they said. They did not require any money until project was completed. They were punctual, reasonably priced, professional and did an outstanding job!!! Beautiful work! We would definitely highly recommend Rand’s for any masonry work to our friends and family!!

First of all 8 had to called them. They never bothered tmake Contact. Second the didn't bother calling me back the next day like they promised they would.

I was communicating with this company through messaging. I told Ryan I would be in town on a certain day so we could meet to look over the job of putting in a ribbon driveway. When I got in town, I called him to let him know I was in town. He said he was busy and could not come by. He said he would call and come by on that Friday. I haven’t heard from him since and this is three days after he said he would come by. I didn’t receive as much as a message or phone call to let me know he wasn’t coming. I do not want to do business with a company who ignores customers. Thus, an F rating.

OUTSTANDING overall service. Driveway poured thicker than normal, to exact specs/dimensions. Best communications I've seen in a LONG time. Showed for work ON TIME, as promised; never late. Recommend Rand's to my friends or anyone who wants PROFESSIONAL service, on-time, at a REASONABLE price.

It was awesome. I was really satisfied with what they did, it's better than my original chimney. He was very neat and it was done on time.

They are great in price and great service, everything was just wonderful and fast.

Sharp, precise and beautiful stone work that added class, character and value to my home. It was more affordable, especially considering the free estimate when compared to other businesses.
