Randy the electrician showed up promptly on time as scheduled each day of work. Was very professional, courteous, and friendly. Did the work in a very timely manner. He installed new lighting and fans in two bathrooms, overhead lights in the hallway, kitchen and over the fireplace. Along with rewiring the tv cable and electrical box over the fireplace. Can't say enough good about Randy and the owner Tony.

Big shout out to Brian!! He does everything we need him to do, he's prompt, he's clever and professional and he's a pleasure to have working in the house. Love this guy and would never dream of calling anyone else.

Cost to run cable wires was too expensive. Job was too labor intensive to snake wires on an interior condo unit.Gentleman from company was extreme helpful with alternate suggestions. Very professional. I would definitely call them again.

I was not impressed. The serviceman arrived on time for the original sales call (June 13th), but then they didn't seem to have any concern for my time on the installation. They originally said they would come back in two days (June 15th). Then they called and rescheduled for the next week (18th or 19th). I rent my condo so this involved making special arrangements. Then they never showed up! After multiple phone calls, they finally rescheduled for June 26th, first thing in the morning. I drove down that morning to meet them. By 10:30, they still had not shown up! When I called, suddenly, they were on their way. They arrived shortly thereafter and began the work. Made me wonder if I hadn't driven three hours down there, would they have not shown up again?! UPDATE: The owner contacted me and apologized profusely. I believe that everyone can make mistakes and he realized that they had. He said he discussed the situation with his employees and corrected the errors they made. I believe that the contractors who recognize their mistakes and work to correct them are worth giving a second chance. If I need them again, I will give them another shot.

Showed up right on time. Very professional and courteous. Went right to work, and finished with the hour. Good professional looking job. Absolutely satisfied and would use him again.

My experience to them was great! Everything was good, they were prompt, came out immediately and finished the job; they are just very easy to work with.

Brad Gerhman was terrific. He showed up immediately and stayed into the evening to ensure all work was completed. He was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. Brad is an asset to Mr. Sparky. Very impressed with the service.

I CALLED TO ASK WHAT THE PRICE TO INSTALL FIXTURE WAS AND WAS TOLD $49.50. WOW, I THOUGHT THAT WAS GREAT! ACTUALLY, THE $49.50 WAS ONLY FOR THEM MAKING THE SERVICE CALL.. THE COST TO INSTALL THE CHANDLIER WAS $159.00. WHAT A SHOCK! THEN I ASKED HIM TO INSTALL A DIMMER SWITCH. TOOK HIM LESS THAN 5 MINS. AND HE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $109. THESE SWITCHES AT MOST MIGHT COST $15-20. ADD TAX AND IT WAS ALMOST $300. QUALITY OF WORK: GREAT WOULD I USE THEM AGAIN. . . . ABSOLUTELY NOT

Went fine. He came within the timeframe I was given and he took special care covering his shoes whenever he had to come into the house. Before doing the work, he asked if the position of the light was where I wanted it. Very pleased with the result.

The technician (Randy) was extremely kind assisting by calling his boss to obtain payment arrangements & discounts to help. A+ for him and his work. However the office refused to fax invoice copy to the ins comp.

A good experience. Read prior reviews on Angie's list and found them to be accurate, even the ones that said the service would tend to be on the pricey side. Frankly, I would rather have that than a jackleg who didn't know any more about lighting than I do. Thanks, Angie.

I can not rate this company higher than I did! Through a simple human error, they neglected to schedule the service call on my home that we had agreed upon. When I called to ask what had happened, the owner personally took resonsibility for the oversight, and promised get someone out immediately. This was at 5:00 PM on a Friday! The technician called me to let me know he was on his way. Upon his arrival, he quickly completed running an electrical and data line so I could install a flat screen tv on the wall. He was friendly and kept me informed at all times of what he was doing. He even played with our dogs! And when the job was satisfactorily complete, he advised me that there would be no charge because of the scheduling mess up! Imagine my suprise at such wonderful customer service and fairness. I will use Misty Sparky in the future and recommend them to all my friends and neighbors. This is the way to do business so that customers want to use you again. Thanks.

They were very prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and they had been a real pleasure to work with. Ask for Ashley and I used them multiple times already.

We needed to update a plug so my husband could use his treadmill.

Randy and Brian showed up exactly when they said they would the first time they came out. Originally I called Mr. Sparky just to repair a few items in the house, however when they got there they identified that I had an old electrical panel that was prone to failure and potential fires and informed me they could not do any work without first replacing the panel. I suspected my panel was due to be replaced so I agreed to have all of the work done that they recommended, which included my original list of items. When they came back to do the work it was Randy, Brian, and even Tony (the owner) who came out, along with a boat to work on my boat lift. Again, they showed up when they said they would and got started right away. They were able to finish most of the work but not everything. We agreed that Randy would come back in a few days to finish up. Randy came back by himself this time, and again showed up when he said he would and even called me when he was on the way. Randy let me tag along with him while he replaced some of the outlets and patiently answered my questions and explained things to me along the way, which I appreciated. He did a thorough inspection of the house, including the attic which is a very tight space. Randy and Brian were both very professional and personable and respectful of the house, always careful to wear protective covering on their shoes, and I have confidence that they are both top notch electricians after watching them work. Randy even brought some treats for my dog, which I'm sure she appreciated. I would definitely use them again.

We live in an older home and our breaker box/panel was in bad shape--old and unsafe. The box was located in a kitchen cabinet and was awkward to access. Randy from Mister Sparky removed the old breaker box from the cabinet and installed a new one in the next room. In addition to replacing the breaker box, he installed surge protection for our cable & phone lines. Randy was great to work with, and he gave us very clear information about what he was doing as he worked through the process of installing the new box. We feel much safer now that the work is complete. Because we did not have an outside disconnect for our electric service, the electric company had to come out and pull the meter. Randy worked with the company to coordinate their visits and made the process painless. We are pleased with the result and very happy that the price we were quoted at the beginning of the process is exactly what we were charged at the end. We will be calling Mister Sparky (and Randy) again to do some additional work.

Overall excellent service from start to finish. The staff was professional, timely and knowledgable. I thought that their prices were on the high end but would certainly use them again.

After I got over the $2100 cost shock it went well. Seems my outside wire to the box was loose so the panel overheated, buss bar and all wiring was damaged inside the box. Randy the electrician was very good in his demeanor and repairs!!

I was greeted on the phone and I told the operator what I needed. Made an appointment the next day. The tech.( Ashley ) proceeded to a**** the situation and said he needed some parts. He came back in a short while we discussed the price which I was happy with,he then proceeded with the work He was extremely efficient and in no time the job was finished. Brian is a great asset to the company. He was personable, courteous and professional. The work was difficult with many decisions to be made about placement and what can and can't be done. He was helpful making those decisions by providing information and advice. He attempted to locate a remote fan sensor in two boxes without success but persisted it until he installed it in the attic space which is very tight. We are very satisfiled.

The service was absolutely fantastic overall. We were extremely pleased, and they were so good initially, we called them back again! I couldn’t say anything negative about them, and we would recommend them highly for any electrical work. Also, because we belong to Angie’s List, they gave us a discount.

The service was okay overall, but he wasn’t able to resolve the problem or figure out what was causing the problem. He did check everything thoroughly, told us it might be a water heater problem, and did his best. We’ll probably have to call a plumber. The only reason why I wouldn’t use him again is since he’s located far away from our area, he charged an extra fee.

The service went fine. I didn’t get done exactly what I needed to get done, but I think that was probably more my fault than theirs. The electrician was nice and did what he could. They were a really easy company to work with overall.
