They were here on time. They did what we had talked about and did it better than I thought they would. They did a good job.

The work went well. They were quick workers and completed without a problem They cleaned up their mess. Both were very professional and personable.

Brad was completely wonderful: He was on time. (this is very important to me) He had a professional shirt on with his name on it. He wore covers on his shoes. He gave me options, and answered all my questions. He gave me the price right away. He cleaned up after himself. He confirmed I was happy with the job.

The electrician was very professional. He answered all of our questions. He explained what he was going to do and why before he did. Installation was quick and we had no problems.

AWESOME, Found out through Generac website Mr. Sparky is a dealer authorized by Generac to service / repair Generac Generators. Tech Sean arrived had original Generac parts, Air Filter, oil filter, 2 spark plugs 2 quarts Generac 5W-30 full synthetic oil drained old oil out every drop, replaced oil filter, air filter spark plugs (2) addded 2 quarts oil . noticed old oil draining out was milky, and informed me this is not suppose to be like this. Told him Community Electric LLC. through Generac website was where i purchased generator new installed by Community electric LLC and was serviced last year by them. Noticed last year Community Electric LLC. crew only added 1 quart of Castrol 5w -30 synthetic oil and not 2 quarts. Probably why Community Electric LLC is not affiliated through Generac anymore. Tech Sean, started generator did full load test to make sure everything was set to go noticed my generator was set to quiet mode, informed me it should be set on normal and not quiet mode, condensation and low rpm on quiet mode could harm generator. Ran generator through cycle, set back to automatic start cleaned up around generator and was on his way. Awesome job and ready for when i need it to run.

They are very limited in capability

Great! Mister Sparky was one of 4 contractors we used for proposals. Of the 4, only two provided electrical and natural gas service included in their estimate. We did not want the hassle of trying to find a plumber to do the gas connection. Mister Sparky provided excellent customer service. The only issue we had was trying to get them to give us an exact time for the first visit - they gave us a window of time - I hate that. I want a time when you are going to be here. But they got here close to the time they said they would be here. They put booties on their feet when they enter your house - appreciate that dirt is not going to be tracked on the floors and carpet. The brand they install is Briggs & Stratton. Our home is only 1500 sf, so we didn't need a really big unit. With their proposal, they also included a house surge protector - a costly item if done alone - to be installed while they had the electric panel apart. We received the estimate on Monday and they installed the unit the following Friday. We were without power longer than expected due to some scheduling and inspection issues, and Mister Sparky gave us some extra service to compensate. They went out of their way to make sure we were a happy customer. The generator unit itself is compact and sounds like a lawn mower when it runs. So, if we get a storm outtage - we're ready!

Quote was 3 times more than previous quotes. $2400.00 versus $600.00 to $800.00

They are always professional, friendly and courteous. We will definitely use Mister Sparky for all of our electrical needs. They partner with a plumbing company as well and offer a discounted combination package which equals big savings if you have large projects. We plan on having their partner plumbers install a whole house water filter.

Our electrician, Chad, did a great job. He was prompt and courteous and went to work immediately to replace our hanging kitchen light with a ceiling fan. The ceiling at that point is 13 feet high. For our safety, he took the extra time to insure that the existing electrical box would handle the extra weight of the fan. He tested our fan and cleaned up after the job. Really professional. My only hiccup was the pricing. After surveying the work to be done he wrote the quote of $148. on a plain piece of paper. When I asked about a seniors or Angie?s List discount he said that he couldn?t discount an already discounted price. (??). I was expecting a price of ~$84. (with a fee for ceilings over 10? ? as advertised on Angie?s website).

Totally absurd price for the work done. The 2 techs did not even have a wall switch or junction box in the truck and both of them had to go to Lowe's to get the parts. to finish the job. The wall switch was installed crooked and I had to fix it the best I could after they left. This was a very simple installation since all the wall wiring was already installed and the only new wiring was to run a 25 foot line in the attic. This is a stand up attic and the junction boxes and wiring are visible and accessible. We had just moved in to a new home and I really felt like we were taken advantage of. I would never recommend Mr.Sparky to anyone. I was very pleasantly surprised that I received a phone call from Mr. Sparky as follow-up to this review that I wrote 2 years after the work was done. He was very professional, listened to what I had to say, and apologized for the overcharge by his employees. He said that he was sorry that he did not catch this at the time the service was performed. He promised me that I would be receiving a check in the mail for $393. The next week I received the check. I still feel that this was a high price to pay for the work done, but I am very impressed that Mr. Sparky followed through on my complaint. I have never heard of any company making restitution like this 2 years after the work was done.

I am pleased to report that Tony Zack, the owner of this Mr. Sparky business, contacted me after the initial review was published. I gave him a detailed explanation of the situation, and he agreed that the electrical problem should have been diagnosed before the new lights were installed. Mr. Zack assured me that his company would figure out what was wrong and fix the problem at no additional cost to me. That was a very generous offer. I'm not sure exactly how much time Mr. Zack spent trying to remedy the situation, but it was the better part of a week. Ultimately the problem was resolved. Some wiring has been replaced, and the new landscape lights work. Thank you, Mr. Zack, for your commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

It went very well. He did a really good job and cleaned up everything after he finished. He was very pleasant and professional and did a very good job. I am very pleased.

Brian will be doing the recommended work in the near future. He is through, cautious, know the codes and is aware of the complexities involving 3 phase house wiring. He did such an excellent job I will have no other electrician in my mom's house or in mine.

Chad arrived promptly, was courteous and informative. He gave me options and explained them clearly. Work was performed in a professional manner. Would definitely use them again.

They were prompt and did the work that was ordered. Their price was more than double Lowes and after paying, I told the tech that I found them on Angie's list, He said I should have told him before he wrote invoice, My bad but left a bad feeling for me. Such is life.

They may be more expensive, but they will come out to give us a price for the job and they let us choose if we want to use them. If I need anything done with electrical work, I will call them.
