Description of Work: We had a guest call to say the (electric) oven would not heat up. I called J&J and got voicemail, but they called back within 90 minutes and scheduled a tech to go out the next morning. The coordinated with our guest and ended up replacing the heating element. I was told it costs $70 for the visit and work plus parts, but I have not received the final bill yet. | |Christina was very accessible and responded to calls and text messages promptly, while we worked out the logistics of the visit. | |(I'll update my review with price info once I get the final bill)

Description of Work: I had a dishwasher (whirlpool) that was not draining. I called them on Monday and they gave us a date on Thursday morning between 9:00 and 10:00 AM to have their repairman stop by. It is a resort home and I would not be there untill the Wednesday evening before. I received a call around 9:15 AM Thursday morning saying he would be there in about 45 minutes. He arrived on time and ask some questions abount any recent repairs, and I shared that a new garbage disposal was recently installed. He ask who did the work and if I knew whether or not they punched out the slot for the diswasher. since I did the work, I said that I did not recall doing that. He checked the garbage disposal and found the slot was still intact and punched it out. He reassembled everything and ran a test cycle with the dishwasher and it drained. He told me not to feel bad, that was a common mistake and even professionals fail to remove the slot. They charged $70.00 and I gave him a $5.00 tip. I was very pleased with every aspect of the service and will call them again if I ever have an appliance issue.

When he showed up he already had all of the parts he needed to complete the job. He went above and beyond replacing an old clamp which had nothing to do with the repair. GREAT SERVICE! Will call again if something else breaks down.

He came out to our home that same morning and was able to open the dishwasher and repair the latch. He was polite, prompt and professional. He also did a great job of explaining what had caused the problem. I couldn't be happier!! Will definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Dishwasher door would not open, due to a broken latch. Thomas from J&J Appliance diagnosed the problem and quickly fixed the door. Works great now!

They were very careful about that. They came within a couple of hours and put the new parts in and it fit perfectly. I haven't had any problems since.

Did not charge for parts or attempt to convince me to do the expensive repair, just the service call and left decisions to me. Very helpful, very quick service. Would definitely recommend and use again.
