Water heater and a.c. work was done out of necessity...original units broke while we were out of town. Four Star was wonderful! Even brought us temp portable units while work was being done.

installation time was a bit more than what was promised, but did not extend much further. Great expertise for older houses. In process of training new technicians. Several jobs were done with great end results. We'll hire Four Star again

They were professional, did a nice job. They were reasonably priced and conscious of the work they did.

It took them about two days to complete the job. They finished in a reasonable manner. The cost was fine, they cleaned up after themselves and I've had no trouble with the unit. They did the work and did it in a reasonable time and manner.

Excellent 2 day job do to wall cutting then spackle and paint.

They were gracious, accommodating, did professional work, and I thought the price was reasonable. I would hire them again

Contacted Four Star and they had someone on site the same day to perform the service. They arrived on time and got straight to work on the issue. Work was completed in a timely manner and all fees were as discussed. The cost of the service was higher than some of the the other providers in the area, but they were not willing to come out on the same day. Price was not far enough off the mark to make me less inclined to use them again if needed.

First of all, as always, he was right on time. (Mike) They call first to let you know they are nearby. The wear booties on their feet to keep the mud off the floors. They bring all their own tools and equipment. He was very careful not to get mud or water in the house. Keep in mind, today it was pouring rain. He still showed up on time. He had to make numerous trips to the truck, in the pouring rain, to get all his tools. No complaints from him. He removed the toilet and replaced the bolts underneath. It was rusted and the toilet was very loose and coming away from the floor. He put in all new bolts and a new wax seal and cleaned it all up and reinstalled it. Not sure what else was involved because I did not hover over and watch him. Then they went into my other bathroom and fixed the drain on my sink. It was leaking down into my cabinet. He put in all new parts. Then he used a shop vac to clean up all the mess. He drained my hot water tank and did maintenance on it. It needed a part replaced. I had installed my own toilet flapper and it was done wrong and he adjusted it to make it work right. The technician was very polite and diligent.

This company sent a VERY professional and experienced gas technician that really knew his stuff. He found the leak(s) and we have every confidence that he did the job right. I will definitely use this company again!

It didn't go. They never showed up for two appointments and had the nerve to charge me $550.00 for cancelling their contract. I would stay clear of these dead beats. It took them three times to estimated the job. I should have realized that they didn't know what they were doing then. BE WARE of DEAD BEATS.

On time, on target, on price. I recommend them to anyone looking for professional work.

Came out quickly on Easter Sunday and cleaned out a main sewer line that was clogged. It was also clogged on the city side of the clean out. The technician called the city utility and waited until they arrived to do their part. The technician was very polite and was sure to communicate the location of the problems and gave instruction on how to check in the future to determine if clog is only on the city side so we don't hire out unnecessarily.

Punctual, polite, professional and decent price. They always answer the phone and show up on time and often ahead of schedule. They always have the proper tools and accessories to complete the job. The most important part is they clean up the entire area when they are done and take the old equipment with them. The technicians are always knowledgeable and don't try to sell us something that we don't need. Great group of people and great company to have working in our vacation home. They treat our property like they would their own.

Installed new heat pump. Everything fine. I feel comfortable being able to call them if anything does pop up. They installed new shower purchased from 3rd party. Shower was defective and poorly made. Four star took out defective shower and put in new ceramic shower free of charge!

They charge $75 just to get in the vehicle & drive to your house. Then they charge for the work. If you can't afford the cost at that time then you lose the $75. Not good business guys. All commercial businesses should NOT charge to come out to assess the problem. We seniors can't afford 2 charges. What do you all think we are made of money? Oh wait you do not live on Social Security. Wait your time will come. 1 p***** Senior.

I am very pleased with them. They were very courteous and very honest. They went out of their way to make sure that I got the rebate I was due from the electric company. I would definitely use them again.

I have used Four Star 4 times over the last 2 or 3 years and was happy with their service. After a problem a couple months ago with my heating, it was recommended that I have coils chemically cleaned to improve efficiency. Having no idea what this service entailed I trusted they were giving me a fair price. I scheduled the service for last Friday between 11 am and 1 pm. At 2 pm when no one had called or shown up I called and was told that there was nothing scheduled. Mistakes can happen so I rescheduled for Monday. The tech showed up on time at least. The cleaning took 36 minutes total and a can of some type of foam. When I balked at 230.00 for this amount of effort and materials the tech did call the service manager (who had booked the original missed service call). He agreed to come down to 198.00. I paid but I still think this was a ridiculous price. Shame on me for not asking more questions and on them for taking advantage of a loyal (former) customer. Next time and next Plumbing/AC company I will ask more questions.

The tech completed the installation in a professional manner, cleaned the area after the work was completed, was not bothered by our house guest or curious dog. And, before leaving the tech checked a couple of DIY projects for any issues at "No Charge". I look forward to using Four Star again

They performed the annual Hvac inspection. Certified that the system was ok .We have used FOUR STAR for plumbing services for many years and this year we decided to enter into enter into a combined service agreement based on past experience which was excellent.

They arrived when they said they would. They were very professional and very reasonable.

When I showered and came downstairs to find that a good deal of water had come through my living room ceiling, of course I feared the worst. I had used Four Star several years ago for a small problem and was satisfied so I called again. I called at 7:30 am. the dispatcher was friendly and efficient, and said they could have somebody to me between 8 and 10 am. A plumber (Danny) was there at about 8:30. He quickly spotted and fixed the problem. Luckily just a seal but too late for my ceiling. So although this was not a big problem, I appreciated the prompt professional service and integrity. I probably wouldn't have known better if I had been told there was a larger problem.

The unit started to go bad a month ago and we brought these guys out. They came out, checked on everything, and they said they were completely booked, but we found a few of their men who did the extra work for us anyway. They worked for 7 hours in our attic while the heat index was 115! They covered everything in the house with tarps to keep everything clean. They cleaned up after themsleves. The installed a new AC for us and did a great job. They come out every six months to check and make sure it is still running correctly.

They show up exactly when they say they are going to come. We get a discount for using them. They are pleasant and clean. They also guarantee their work.

The work went very well. The air conditioning system was checked out and we are set for the summer. The plumbing also checked out fine with the exception of the repairs to the shower fixture. Greg did an outstanding job repairing the shower. I give credit to both Four Star and Greg for the effort that they make to just make repairs. Greg goes the extra mile to make it a high quality job and helps to insure that there won't be a problem in the future. Greg has done previous plumbing repairs at our house previously and I would highly recommend him to anyone in the future who has plumbing issues. It is a pleasure to do business with Four Star Plumbing and Air Conditioning.

They were really good. The first time when they fixed it, it had a leak so another guy came out again at midnight and stayed till it was done. He was very thorough and he made sure he cleaned up every little trace of anything that he had dropped. He was extremely conscientious about his work. I do not remember being upset about the price. I told them if I needed some more work to be done I would definitely give them a call, in fact I keep their card stuck on the hot water heater.
