Description of Work: Edge Manufacturing is a furniture manufacturer that also supplies foam cushioning to the Myrtle Beach area upholstery businesses under the name Foam, Inc. They also cut custom foam for the public. They were recommended to us by Ryan Smith of RMS Unlimited in Myrtle Beach. Edge cuts foam to order at 7:00 am daily. Any later, and you're out of luck as they have their own furniture building and upholstery business to run. We arrived at 7:30 on a Monday morning and met Sarah-Lynn and Richard. He removed the covers from some cushions we'd recently had upholstered (not by RMS) that needed firmer foam. Within minutes he'd cut the cushions from a giant block of foam, wrapped them in plastic, vacuumed them down and replaced them in the covers. In the meantime, Sarah-Lynn cut foam for three large throw pillows, wrapped the foam in batting, then vacuumed them down so it was easy to slip the new covers on. She also cut new foam cushions for a rocking chair. They were genuine pleasures to deal with and the "wholesale" price for the foam was very reasonable.
