I emailed Wormwood Landscaping through Angies List and they never responded. I gave them my email and phone number but never got any response.

Jon was very professional and responsive. He came out the same day I called to check our system and diagnose the problem, then returned two days later to perform the work. He quickly installed a new control panel and rain sensor for the irrigation system, then checked that the whole system was working properly. He showed me how to use the system and made sure I was satisfied before he left.

This service provider was professional, friendly and courteous. He arrived promptly and provided a thorough inspection and fixed a problem area promptly without having to make a trip for additional supplies. I will not hesitate to use this provider again in the future.

they did fine, except for the laying the sod. he said he could not really do that becuase of his arthritis (or something like this). just ended up dropping the sod on the ground, no prep at all.

He's wonderful. He does a great job. He is a hard worker. He is reliable. I told him what my vision was and he was really good at picking up on that. He is a good person. He is very knowledgeable about what he is doing.

He did mowing and trimming twice a month at our house for the past year.

Advised that a solenoid for zone 3 would need to be replaced. I told him that I would like to fix it myself and he gave me a list of all the supplies I would need. He even drew a picture for me to help me understand everything I needed to do. I like that type of service and will contact him again for future needs.

Mr Wormwood did the job as was described and I was quite satisfied with his work.

Arrived within 10 minutes of appointment time. Owner Jon and helper worked about an hour total. Was given cost of replacing 2 heads and repairing leak in 3rd before I okayed the additional work. Not sure that the coupon was all that efficient--would have been a lot faster for me to make one call and set up rather than a few emails with the company via Angies List.

They came out and reset all of my sprinkler heads. It went very well. I called them about 2 weeks later and they came back out and reprogrammed the system to come on and off at specific times at no charge.

Was a great visit. The team adjusted what needed to be adjusted, corrected deficiencies, recommended what I could do myself to save costs and made sure I was satisfied before they left. I would recommend the team to you if you need a tune up and don't have the time or adjustment tools, and need some advice for work you can do in your own time.

It was not really a tune-up because he turned them on and off. He identified one that needed adjusting and he came back later for an additional $50 to put it back on. It was not a very fruitful experience. I will not call on him again. I think the price was high for what he did. He basically did not do anything.

I will give John credit where credit is due. He discovered he had a problem, and he then made every effort to correct that problem. Not all companies go to that length. He installed the new irrigation clock, checked the zones, and spent time with both me and my wife explaining how the clock works. I would recommend that others try his services.

We're very satisfied. The job was more work than anticipated, They worked hard and barely took a break. Since we had hired them by the hour, I thought they might work slowly just to get the time in, but that was not the case at all!

Jon is the one contractor I have always been able to rely upon to do what he says, perform the work to the highest standard and to always let me know if something needs to be done differently or changed. He is that increasingly rare person, an honorable man. After hiring the most well regarded and well reviewed landscape contractor in Columbia to do some major work at great expense, I needed someone to come in and finish what they had left undone, evaluate the condition of the new work (because many of the plants are now blighted) and repair the lawn where they 'forgot' to reseed and weed. Jon charges more than the people who mow-and-go and it's a bit of a stretch for us, but he always shows up, does a thorough job, keeps me informed, and I don't have to go out and clean up after they leave. I give him the highest possible recommendation.
