They say they attempted delivery the first day, but there were 4 people on the other side of the door. We did not hear the bell or anyone knocking. We heard other deliveries made within an hour of them. The next day they said they would deliver. We waited at home all day and as late as 8 PM they said it was out for delivery (phone, email and website). Then at 8:10 PM they said they were not delivering due to weather. FedEx and USPS delivered on time though FedEx indicated possible trouble on tracking website (UPS did not). The next day when called they said they thought they would deliver and I should wait home from 8 AM-8PM. I called to get some clarification on time because after 2 days at home I needed to go to work etc. No luck. They simply said if I kept missing delivery it would be sent back and that I cannot leave a signature. Needless to say while I have previously been happy with them, I will never use them voluntarily again for packages requiring a signature. My time has value to me even if they think it is worthless.
Description of Work: Shipped a computer from Asia to South Carolina.

Disaster. I will never use them again. and what good is there -DHL ? UPS insurance that I paid for. 20 business days to consider a clear cut claim. my business customers will not wait for there slow process. Insult on to injury. .
Description of Work: DHL sub-contracted package to UPS. UPS told us failed delivery dates, keeping us waiting. Then after a week told us that the package was on the wrong truck and heading west, they then told us it was off the tracking system, then lost. It weighed about 150 Pounds 2.2 meters long and not the sort of thing that you could lose unless you had a folk lift truck. It came from Ireland and cost a lot of money, and I’m still waiting for the insurance. This followed numerous disturbed and witnessed Avon packages also messed up by UPS out of Columbia. .
