Bathtup looks brand new and the sprayed gripper works great for preventing slips. I didn't do a comparison of the cost of new tub to refinishing an old one, I felt the convenience in not having to remove the tub was the better option. And they do a very good job of providing information and explaining how to maintain the finish.

The original white porcelain finish on my cast iron bathtub was badly scarred and pitted from years of use abd abuse with harsh chemicals. There was rust and various unidentifiable stains in the tub; the caulking was mildewed and cracked; the original grout had dirt and stains ground into it. I had considered having a liner installed, but I really didn't want to lose the nice ceramic tile surrounding the tub, nor did I want to decrease the size of the tub. A friend of mine had a tub which was much worse than mine, and after I saw the transformation that The Tub Girls performed on it, I hired them to reglaze my tub. I was not disappointed. The tub looks fantastic! It is now white and shiny; the mildewed caulking was replaced by grout; the existing grout was cleaned, sanded, and painted to match the tub. Ms. Muldrow and Ms. Carraway took extra care to prevent overspray, and I did not have to clean up afterwards. The only drawback is that the tub can't be used for 48 hours following the reglazing, but this is part of the process and well worth the wait.
