The Dumpster Company

Initially, I felt this company had provided me with pretty good service. The ordering process and contract (sent via email) was pretty straight forward and went as expected. Also, the dumpster was dropped off and picked up in a timely manner. The drop off space was a little tight, but the driver handled the both drop off and pick up with ease and accuracy. At the time of my order I was told that should my dumpster needs exceed the 2 ton limit, I would be charged a fee per additional ton. I did not surprise me that we exceeded this amount since there was concrete and other heavy items to dispose of. It did surprise me, however, that I was notified and charged an excess fee more than two months after the service was provided. When I spoke to their customer service department to complain about the delay, I was told curtly that this was out of their control since their local service provider was responsible for a delay in submission. He also admitted that this was a common complaint. I felt they should have warned me of the delay in advance, especially if it is a known problem.
