+ -1 moreMatt's great. This was the third time we've had him do computer work. The first time, he retrieved nearly all files from a dead computer after three other technicians had declared it impossible. He listens to the problems and troubleshoots patiently. He fixes what's broken, or knows when it can't be fixed, and he doesn't make any changes to the computer setup without checking with us first. (I hate it when a technician rearranges my desktop, or resets screen resolution, or changes the launchpad, or "fixes" other things that aren't broken)!
Description of Work: Computer problems! S-L-O-O-O-W performance, some software wouldn't open, some opened but wouldn't work. Some problems recurred in multiple programs, files were inaccessible, what a mess! But it's a desktop (not laptop), heavy and hard to move, complicated to unplug and reconnect. We didn't want to deal with having to haul it to the shop. Matt came to the house the same day we called him, spent a couple of hours, listened to all our descriptions of trouble, and corrected all the problems.
