Description of Work: They provided a free evaluation. The techs were knowledgeable, professional, thorough and friendly. They were like Indian trackers in their ability to detect termite and pest presence. They suggested additional services but did not "push" those services. My suggestion is that you do your homework before you ask for an evaluation for any service from any company. With that caveat, I found Terminix from Chapin to be completely satisfactory so far. I just started with them.

+ -1 moreRon showed up on time but I was late! He was kind enough to call my cell phone to remind me and wait a few minutes until I got home. He was very polite and professional, listened to all my concerns carefully and answered questions. He described what he was going to do ahead of time and then proceeded to do a thorough job. He even swept down a large spider web on my porch!
Description of Work: First quarterly visit for pest control. On the exterior, I had a hornet's nest in a bush right beside the walkway and carpenter's bees in the railing of deck stairs. On the interior, I had black ant scouts showing up frequently. The $75.00 quarterly fee covered all of the above and they will come out free between quarters if needed. I signed up for a 1-year contract.

+ -1 moreWe had been experiencing a large problem with black widow spiders at our house, and a previous pest control service was not doing the job we expected so we called Terminex. Upon their first service appointment, the technician made us aware of a yearly contract for quarterly service (which we wanted) that would save us about 15% over the year. Each quarter the technician calls to set-up the appointment, so we don't have to remember to call them about coming out to the house. The tech is always very nice and helpful with other household issues beyond pest control - she recently put us in touch with a contractor to deal with a drainage problem we have under the house. Also, if we experience any noticed pest issue prior to the next quarter's scheduled service, Terminex will come out and re-spray free of charge. This is a big bonus during the summer months when our black widow's seem to come back more readily. Overall, we love the service Terminex is providing us!

+ -1 moreSo far they've been fine. They did a nice, thorough job of inspecting. They came out about three months after the initial protection and put in more protection and checked around for damage. The inspection was free. The cost listed is for our house and is a one time fee, we then will pay about $200 a year to maintain the service.
Description of Work: We had them out for termite inspection. We then had them do a termite protection program. We've only used them now for a couple of months.
