Terminix - Columbia -Termite & Pest Control

I have an annual contract with Terminex, very reasonably priced $235. They come every quarter by appt which they are always on time for. They also come for emergencies, i.e. fire ant mound popping up. They have a contractors division, which repaired a gutter which had to be removed and remounted to adjust the pitch and stop a leak. This was at extra cost, but it was the lowest of 3 and I was given a 2 yr warranty on the work. My service tech, Eric, is very pleasant, competent, clean , and professional. I am very pleased with my relationship with Terminex and would certainly recommend them..

They have been great and they are coming out again next week. They charge us $300 a year and everything about them is fantastic. They are here on time and they do what they say they are going to do. They control the roaches and spiders in the house. If you ask them to come back like if you see a roach or something, they will come back and spray again if you want them to with no extra charge. Their price is also good.

I have used them for many years and I am quite satisfied with them. I do not have any problems with the bugs. The guys who come out are very good, they do what they are supposed to. I use them quarterly. I have never used anybody else but them since I have lived in Columbia.

They have been very prompt and I feel like they go beyond when examining for my termite inspection bond. Leo Guerra, the guy I worked with, comes out whenever I need a pest spray or termite inspection.

terminix did intital services in august 2012. problem was under control in 2 weeks and they follow up with you to make sure. I love their services and would recommend.

I had no real problem with the actual service but since 2008 my prices have escalated from $315 to $425. Like clockwork every two years my cost has gone up 10% without regard to the economy or the fact that the company has very little stake in the actual service. Someone comes by quarterly to check traps. Takes less than 20 minutes. At $425, that is a $100 a visit. My pest service (also Terminix) has gone up $10 over the same period and that is reasonable and exceptable.

I have an ant problem in the house. The fire ants are particularly bad this year in my area. I called Terminix and they came out next day to take care of the problem. The name of the person who responded was Ron. He was extremely professional, answered all my questions, went back over things that I noticed after he was done without complaint. One day later the ant problem is noticeably reduced.

We chose this company to handle our pest control based on it's Angie's List reviews, and we've had a service contract with them since 9/19/2011. Initially they sprayed the exterior perimeter of the house and set rat traps in the attic. Our service technician was Derrick. On his second visit, I had to ask him to check the rat traps, which he clearly was not intending to do, even through the whole reason for hiring this company was to deal with the rat droppings we found when we moved into this house. He hasn't offered to check them since, and I haven't asked, because I have been checking them on my own. On several occasions, he was late for his appointment, and in fact one time he was three days late, only calling a few minutes before arriving and offering some vague excuse about family problems causing him to miss agreed-upon appointment. According to his work order invoice, he claims to have sprayed the windows, eaves, doors and outbuildings in addition to the exterior perimeter, which came as a total surprise to me, because the only thing I ever saw him do was spray the perimeter of the house, and even then, on one occasion, he left about 25% of the perimeter untreated. His last treatment was on 6/25/2012. I left for a week on 6/27, and returned on 7/6 to find my kitchen floor littered with roaches and crickets, even though I thoroughly cleaned the kitchen and put out the trash before I left. Had the same result in the workshop out back. And the roaches are now more prevalent than ever. But the final straw came when I looked as his 6/25 invoice and found his recommendation that I replace the crawlspace vents even though they are operable and intact. When I called the office to cancel, I was told that I still owed $75 for the last service. So I complained, and the manager called back to address my concerns. He offered to have Derrick's supervisor continue the contract, but given the poor results after almost a year of "treatment", I said no. At least he cancelled the contract and the final bill for $75.

Overall, they do a pretty good job.

I am very satisfied with them. If I ever have a problem. They will come out same or next day at no additional cost.

They come out twice a year and they will call me before they come out. The thing I really like about it they do around your house and if it rains it washes it away and the bugs come back and alls I have to do is call and they will come back out again no charge. They back up their work.

They do a wonderful job. The representatives they send seem to be trustworthy to have in your home.

We've had no problems since they've been taking care of us.

When they came, we were not home but they did their inspection and sent us the report. We have a contract with them for a year.

They come once every 3 months and I pay them annually. They are always punctual, get the job done and are very pleasant. The quality is excellent and they are always on time.

They are consistent and reliable. I like them. I am not switching.

I've used him for four years. He's been great. He comes on extra calls if we have a problem at no charge. He's very thorough, professional and I trust him.

I have mixed emotions about them. They do the interior and exterior of my home. When I called them back to take care of ants, they didn't want to come back out. Gail was the best one we had, but now she is in another district. I was upset when she left because the other technicians are mediocre.

I just signed a contract with Terminix.

They are ok, I wouldn't highly recommend them, I would do some research because I think they are highly over priced. according to some estimates I got the other day they were outrageous. I have to keep up with when they are supposed to come out because we don't do the spray we do the baiting system. they are supposed to come out every three months and I have had to call them and ask them to come out and its been over three months. They just kind of come when they want to and I will use them again if I have to but we will be looking for someone else.

I have really been happy that if I have any kind of a problem, they will come back out and they have really been on top of things. Overall, they do a good job.

I have used them for ten years. I like the familiarity I have with the service provider that we have. He knows my house and he knows what critters I may or may not normally have. He is usually on time. Those are the biggest things I like.

I was happy with the services provided. I have no bugs. The overall service is great. I wouldn't say they're not bad about anything. I think they can do something with the pricing because I have a maintenance contract with them. They come out four times a year.

I have used them for about 18 years and am on an annual contract with them. I give them all A's and will use them again in the future.

They provide excellent service. If I have any kind of questions they are very helpful.
