Storm Team completed installation of our roof on 4/21/16. I immediately notified the project manager that there were issues with the roof. The issues I saw were puckers, valleys in the roof and uneven seams. The project manager arranged a time to come out on the 22nd, but it rained and we rescheduled for 4/25, but he didn't show up so I contacted him again and he came that afternoon. He agreed with me that he believed there were issues and he would send a QC person out. Melvin, the QC person, came out on 5/2. He said except for puckers it was the shingles. When I commented my neighbors had new roofs and theirs didn't look like ours, he said that the Certainteed shingles were the highest quality shingles and that is how they looked installed. He said my neighbors probably didn't have those shingles. To me if they are so high quality then they should look like even better than others not worse. Melvin told me he would come out with another technician. We asked to be present and Melvin agreed. Move forward to 5/31 when I received a text from the project manager telling me he received a completion form from Melvin. I responded that we hadn't met with Melvin and the QC technician yet and we still had issues. I received a phone call from Melvin stating that he and the technician came and fix the issues. We hadn't given him authorization to climb on our roof and I reminded him that of that and that we were supposed to be present. He got very defensive and started saying that he had integrity and did what he said in business. I didn't question his integrity only that I felt there were still issues and he came to our house without meeting us and climbed all over our roof without authorization. He said he would arrange another appt with the QC technician, but it might be a week or two. Fast forward to 7/13 when I received a phone call from the project manager asking for payment. I explained that Melvin was supposed to have a QC technician here and he hadn't made an appt. The project manager said he would investigate it and get back with me. A couple more weeks passed without contact from Storm Team and then on 7/26 a storm specialist shows up at our house asking for payment. My husband told him we had issues with the roof and we had tried to get it resolved, but no one from Storm Team was trying to resolve it. I called him back that night and we arranged a meeting for 7/30. He said the roof may take 6 months to settle. I was previously told 2 weeks and told him that was not what I'd previously been told and that he was feeding me a line. He took pictures and said he was send the info to the owner and he would get back with me. We hadn't received any communication and then on 8/5 we received a priority letter dated 7/30 demanding payment or they were going to take legal action in10 days. In essence we have 2 days to pay because we received the letter a week later. However, our issues are still not resolved and the people that were supposed to contact us never followed back up and didn't respond when I contacted them. We want the roof fixed.

They did an excellent job. The roof looks wonderful and I've received many complements on it. I worked with Brian Arnold who explained everything to me, returned all my calls promptly, did exactly what he said he was going to do, the cost matched his estimate exactly, and he was very professional.
