Don't call stanley steamer especially in the columbia sc area. The guy that came to our house created a lot of work for me removing all the water from my carpet. I should not be able to pull up more than 2 cups of liquid from 1/2 of a room. I could have sprayed my floors with a waterhose myself. I had to move my own furniture he was just cleaning around it even my end table, coffee table and dining room chairs before he finally got the hint. He could have probably done a better job if he could put his phone down, and he would not have been banging the cleaner head repeated into my furniture legs. Called the same day to report this person but that fell on deaf ears. They do not refund money. 2 days later, after I had dried the floors with my own shampooer they offered to have someone come out to reclean. We have used this company for years but never again. I will stick with someone who respects my property and stands behind their work. Congratulations Stanley Steemer, you got me. Shame on you! Looks like I'm not the only one with issues with this company. Check out social media. No wonder they don't stand behind their services, they would be broke. Bet they don't have a lot of repeat business since this location is no longer a locally owned franchise but corp owned.

That is a really good price. Our carpet is almost 30 years old and we haven't changed it. It looks a lot better. They could come like the next day. I called them and they set it up and they came. They were right here on time. They were early. They were very nice. They were very professional. It took about an hour and a half to complete. The workers were so nice. We had a great conversation. They were very nice.

I left my elderly wife with responsibility to let cleaners in and lock up after they completed the job. When the workmen asked if she wanted additional services, like applying deodorizer and cleaning 2 more rooms instead of the 4 I requested. The bill was run up from $129 to $477. She was too trusting and naive to realize what was happening. So BEWARE of Stanley Steemer. The workmen are on commission and will screw you over if you aren't savvy enough to stop it.

I’m not sure that they moved all of the furniture but I can’t be sure.

They could have taken their time; I feel like they rushed the job.

It went quite well. They were courteous on the phone, arrived on time, took care to clean their feet, worked quietly, efficiently, and did a good job.

As far as their customer service they were very professional and I was pleased with the gentleman that came. We were not pleased with the service they provided and when we called them with complaints they did not offer to rectify it. The pricing was fine. We would not use them again.

They worked out for me and I would probably use them again.

It was okay. It was pretty routine. The technicians that came out looked liked collage-aged kids and they were just doing the business. They actually showed up on time so that's a bonus.

They did a really great job on my floors. They came out and brought the machine. It's a high pressure suction. They cleaned the floors, they filled them and they took the pans out. They offered to clean a couple of others. We bought the house and I'm kind of a neat-freak. The tiled floors haven't been cleaned or sealed by the previous owners. That's very hard to clean ourselves once that happens. I had to have a professional to come out and get that. There was no way they could up-sell me. They did really well. They got the solid state. The floors were great. I am happy with the service. They were very polite and very professional. The price was reasonable. They have to work on a minimum. They didn't integrate on the actual size of the bathroom. The price would have been about $40 or $50 for both bathrooms but they have the $80 minimum. I had to get the floors sealed as well in order to make that minimum.

They did an excellent job on the house we are renting. They were able to get under most of the furniture which was a big deal because we weren't able to move a bed that was in a room that really needed a good cleaning to get out a cologne smell. They did a thorough job and were able to get up some pretty bad stains and smell. They were quick and neat about the job, too.

They got them out and I would use them in the future.

We have used them twice. They do what they say they are going to do and are timely. They were constantly trying to up sell me everything. I had to tell them to just clean the darn thing and stop trying to sell me more stuff. We did upgrade one level. I will probably use them again. Everything was professional; they were there when they said they were going to be there. I feel they did the work that they promised to do. They seemed knowledgeable about what needs to be done. They were competent. There price was comparable.

After many failed attempts to clean our shower ourselves, we finally called the pro's in. It looks like we had our grout replaced. We really thought that after years of dogs and 2 boys that we were going to have to have our carpets replaced. The wonderful people at Stanley Steemer proved us wrong! We couldn't be happier with the service we received from Stanley Steemer. The people on the phone were great. The tech's were on time and very friendly and knew what they were doing. Great team all around. THANKS!!!

Stanley Steemer came out and picked up my oriental rugs during my recent move. They were exactly on time and confirmed by telephone an hour before their visit. They were extremely helpful in working around my movers. The returned my rugs cleaned and wrapped within 48 hours. They even installed them in my new home and didn't raise a ruckus when I decided to swap two rugs in two rooms.

Stanley Steemer did a good job. Their prices are a little high.

Awful, the cleaners who showed up were nice and professional, however, the ones who came after them to give me the duct work estimate were combative and defensive when I mentioned the stains. This is the worst customer service experience I've ever received. I paid $455 to have my carpet look the same way that they found it

I thought the carpets were left too wet. I had to use my Hoover carpet shampoo machine to suck up excess water. Then put fans on them to get them to dry. Have use SS in past, and did not have this problem. They did succeed in removing some persistent pet stains that had not been cleaned in the past. Talked me into purchasing additional cleaning materials and a door mat. Door mat was a good purchase and the cleaning supplies are ok but haven't had much need for them. Ended up spending more than I had anticipated.

I liked their professionalism, attention to detail and were able to do the job quickly.

They did a wonderful job. They gave me a warranty. I sent them to my sisters house.

I would never use them again. The spots on the carpet returned within two to three weeks after that. They didn't do the job. It looked nice when they left but they quickly returned and reappeared on the same spot. They were right on time.

It went well. We've used them a few times. We'd use them again.

I had no problem what so ever. The price and service is good. I would use them again and I have no reason to think otherwise. I think I spent about $ 150 on that service.

We have a service contract so we spend about $250 yearly for three cleanings. They are prompt for their cleaning appointments and are friendly. One of the things that I don't necessarily enjoy is that their turnover is pretty high in that business. If you find a team that you really like you probably won't get them again the next time, because either the technician has left or been reassigned to another time. They try to get out spots that we designate. They will come out again and do a redo if necessary. The office staff is friendly on the phone and you usually can get an appointment when you want. I will use them again in the future.
