Description of Work: Removed an old built-in desk and replaced it with bookshelves.

Description of Work: Our automatic pet door would not open. It is built into the wall between the bedroom and the back porch allowing our dog and our cat unaccompanied access to the outdoors. The trim had to be removed before accessing the inner workings to see what the problem was. Mr. Poole expertly removed the trim and even spoke with the pet door company representative over the phone to determine the problem. A new motor had to be ordered. Mr. Poole returned when we received the new motor, installed it, and replaced the trim around it. It looks as good as new. Mr. Poole was pleasant, easy to work with, and very prompt. We will definitely use his services again.

Description of Work: I have been using the services of Mr. Poole, the proprietor of Shore road Carpentry since February, and I am still using his services. He has repaired the facea board on my home. He has put rails on two porches, and he will be working on the construction of an outdoor patio room for me later this year.

Description of Work: Deck was repaired where boards were damaged, railing was replaced, safety improvements were made to existing deck of my father-in-laws house. Previous to this job, Jim Poole constructed and installed all of the custom screening panels to our front porch.

Description of Work: Jim Poole has just added a room onto our house. He has worked on this old house several times over the years and always does a great job, from building cabinets, laying hardwood floors, replacing counter tops, to putting in tile. He has rescued jobs that others have botched. I had a hard time deciding what category to list him under, since he more or less does it all. Most of all, he is a good carpenter. Completely trustworthy; he has worked inside our house when we're not here.
