They price was reasonable. First crew was on point, on time and clean up after themselves. The second crew not so professional. Communication wasn't so good.

The Rainbow team was very responsive when others were weeks behind. The water mitigation team was fast, efficient and thorough. The reconstruction team was equally as efficient, thorough and professional. Very pleased with the whole team, the follow up and the quality. Would definitely call Rainbow International again.

The process to clean up and restore was completed professionally and timely. Kenny May is an awesome project manager.
Description of Work: Clean up after pipe bursting in ceiling of bathroom. Restoration work to repair bathroom included not limited too dry wall restoration; carpet replaced; painting and mirror/vanity put back in place.

Description of Work: We experienced a house fire in January. It destroyed two rooms in our home. Rainbow was there the same day to reassure us that everything would be taken care of. They were respectful of our home and the fact that we had to move into a hotel. Kenny May treated us as if we were family and he made sure everything promised was carried out. He was at our house almost daily to check on his crew to insure tasks were being performed to his satisfaction. We have nothing but high praises for Rainbow and Kenny May.

The recent unexpected bathroom remodel by Rainbow International Restoration was professional and timely. Work included removal and replacement of tub, shower, vanity and flooring. Mold removal and partial wall replacement was completed. We are very satisfied with the coordination of the various crafts and final result.

Everything went fine to start with. Laundry room was cleaned twice to get soot smell out. Carpet in whole house was cleaned twice to remove soot. Claim adjuster from insurance company wanted carpet cleaned a second time. After carpet was cleaned, the spot in the living room where soot was has turned a pink orange brown. My carpet is a light brown. I now have a large bulge down the near the end of the hall, an orange brown pinkish spot in my computer room and the the dark blue spot in my master bed room has a large white spot in the middle. The first cleaning was done and then the second cleaning was done2-3 days later. At the time the second cleaning was done. The central heat and air wasn't working in the house. There was alot of heat and water put down on the carpet in a short period of time. So there was no air circulating what so ever to help the flooring dry. I pulled the corner of the carpet up. There cleaning and leaving nothing to help the floor dry has resulted in sub floor and carpet damage. When I pulled back the carpet the back of the carpet the padding and the sub floor are still wet now. They brought one of their managers out to look at it all I got was you have a sub floor problem. Also, be warned that they will send pictures into your claim adjuster of the carpet wet. Pictures don't need to be sent into an insurance company wet as it will give the insurance company an out. If you don't know carpet looks a lot different dry than it does wet. The nasty smoky smell, has also returned to the Laundry room. They hauled the old dryer off of the back porch after a week but didn't clean the soot off of the back porch or the fire remains out of the back yard. I asked them twice to clean up around the range hood, because the smoke went up that hole and out on the roof. This wasn't done. I implore you as a customer that is now dealing with more problems in his house than when, I first used these people. Don't use them look elsewhere. Its not worth all of the problems you will have to deal with later.

The team did indeed work very hard at your home and we recognized that you were very satisfied until the insurance company said they would not replace your carpet. We don't have anything to do with those decisions but we deal with your insurance company a great deal and they are a great group of folks that really do try and please their customers. As discussed, pet urine can be very ho*** ** carpet. Typically in order to keep carpet warranty's in tact, hot water extraction should be done at least annually. Most of our customers with pets have to clean more than that in order to keep the pet urine from deteriorating their carpet, pad and affecting sub-floor. With pets, dry cleaning would not be effective in our view and in our training. We are very sorry that you were disappointed in the job. Our team takes it very personally when we cannot please a customer. Thank you again for writing and letting everyone know of your experience. We cannot get better unless we hear from folks like yourself. Thank you again for the feedback.

They were friendly and professional throughout every visit. They never hesitated to answer any question that we asked - and we asked a ton! They cleaned and organized all work materials before they left each day and made certain to place down plastic to avoid tracking anything on our carpet. They were patient as they moved in and around our two kids who are home for the summer break and our two dogs who were very curious. They were flexible when we had to change our weekend appointment at the last minute.
Description of Work: We had a water leak in our floor and wall due to a Refrigerator/Ice Maker Line. Our insurance company hired them for drying purposes.

Awful. Subcontractors were absolutely horrible. They were unprofessional, and did very poor work. A month after the 1 year warrantee was up, our shower leaked again.

Because of a very small water leak in the wall behind our Master Bath Vanity' that we didn't know about, we discovered a strange odor that we investigated. Pulling out one of the large drawers showed us that we had MOLD... We contacted our plumber, Cottrell Plumbing, and they suggested that we contact Rainbow International. They came out to inspect our problem and they got to work right away. Although the mold area wasn't very big, they made sure that they enclosed the proper areas (master bath & walkin closet) dryed it completly. The whole procedure, from start to finish, lasted about 2 months. Thank goodness that we had proper insurance an all we had to pay "out of pocket" was our deductable. I can't say enough about the folks at Rainbow. They have done any and everything that we could have asked for. I highly reccomend their service....
Description of Work: Not only did they provide us with good, qualified sub contractors, but they followed up with us on the phone from time to time to make sure that we were a satisfied customer. The Construction Project Manager made it a point to stay in touch with us.

They were not sympathetic and did not offer any suggestions on alternatives until I asked and was given a couple of franchise names (Serve Pro and Duracleen) which I found out were not very highly regarded as good service providers in my area.
Description of Work: I called Nov. 3, 2015 after flood of Oct 4, 2015. Mandy said they were "very busy" someone would call me. Mandy called back the next day and said "too busy to help right now".

Secondly, you are not in our system and we log everyone that calls into our database and we document conversation logs on all clients. Our process during this crazy time was to call every customer every day to see how they were doing and if they were holding up ok and if they wanted to remain on our list. Also, we don't refer any other company for that specific reason that you mentioned above. In general, it went well, but there were a lot of stupid mistakes that cost time and money. They were very nice and they made good on all the mistakes, but some of the mistakes were pure negligence and should not have been made. One of the major mistakes was failing to replace all the burnt rafters. It was simple - if it's black, replace it. They failed. They replaced all but one. Why one?!?! I don't know. But that was just an example of some of the mistakes made. Again, they made good, but it seriously eroded my confidence and I would not choose them again.
Description of Work: Put on a new roof, insulated the attic, painted interior walls, repair electrical, painted house, washed house.

Troy Scoggins was the lead on our job, and he was wonderful! I HIGHLY recommend this company for water damage, burst pipes, etc.
Description of Work: Rainbow came quickly and got to work immediately after getting the call for help from a burst pipe in an upstairs bathroom. They were incredibly thorough and checked all areas of the house for water. They brought in dryers and heaters and put up plastic sheeting to contain the area. They cut out wet sections of sheetrock and ripped up the floors where water had gotten underneath. The house is ready for the next phase of repair!

Each member of the team was a pleasure to have work for me. The always arrived on time, used the utmost care in moving my furntiure and appliances, and after having had to remove a good portion of my floor and sub floor, they cleaned the mess - nothing left behind for me to deal with! This I appreciate so much!
Description of Work: The professional team of young men promptly came in, assesed the water damage and proceeded to do the necessary things to dry out the floors and walls. They kindly explained the situation and got right to solving the problems.

I chose this company to repair workmanship that was unacceptable work performed by the first contractor. I selected this company out of three others based on their rating with the better business bureau. One of my complaints with the first company was time management along with poor quality work. I was so concerned with time management that I insisted that they understand 2 months out the importance of arriving on time and completing work in the agreed time frame. The week before called to change the date of the agreed work to due to an unforeseen physicians appointment for my son. I rescheduled for the day after the original date to endure that I would be available during the work process. The day before I received a confirmation phone call telling me to expect the contractor , Josh at 9:00 am. Well 9:30 am came and went on April 15 and no one had showed. I contacted the company and explained the situation and was told that someone would call me back.A little later Josh called me to tell me that he had a doctor's appointment and would be late. He showed up to my home 3 hours late. They were still in my home at 7;30 pm that same evening causing my son to miss work ( He lives an hour away from me and was suppose to go home in the early afternoon.) and my infant granddaughter an hour 2 hours of misery in a car seat because her mother had to leave for work before the contractors left and I had no choice but to take my son home so he would not miss another day of work. The did offer to leave around 4:30 pm without completing the work but it would have required them to come the next morning to complete the task. This was time I did not have due to family coming in from out of state. I declined them coming the next morning for this reason. I must add that the bathroom in question is the only bathroom in the home that contains a bathtub and shower. Due to the nature of the work completed our family had already been forced to make other arrangements with showers and such. Having them in my home for a second day would have required me to make arrangements for my family and our guest to go else where to bath. The very next day after the work was completed I received the final bill minus the original deposit. I called to ask when someone would come out to inspect the work and perform a punch list. I was told the next week. The next week came and went and I never heard from anyone. I waited 3 weeks and sent a letter with a partial payment to show good faith, and to express my concerns that no one had contacted me at all even after I was assured that someone would come out to inspect the work . When I finally heard from the company it was a voice mail from the office manager threatening to send my bill to collections. It is now two months later and I still have not heard from the company and I have not received another bill. Update: 9/25/14 I finally received a return call and visit from the company in August. I was told that the work was the best that they could do because my bathtub was not level. The irony of that is that the shower wall in question was the ONLY wall that was installed correctly the first time. We are in the process of awaiting someone else to come out to tell us how much it will cost to repair the tub issue. I am still VERY disappointed with the service since the company did not offer to repair the tub in order for the shower walls to be installed correctly. In the very least one would think that a contractor would at least quote a price since they claim that their work in unsatisfactory as a result of the tub problem.
Description of Work: The provider painted a bathroom ceiling and removed and replaced shower walls in main bathroom.

Our insurance company referred us to Rainbow International when our condo was flooded due to the neighboring unit. Within a few hours of our initial contact, Mike (and I hate that I forgot the other gentleman's name) were the first on the scene and ready to get to work. Even though it was after business hours, they never made us feel like we were an inconvenience. Rainbow had someone come in the next and pack up all of the belongings that needed to be moved so they could get work on drying the unit out which was a complete surprise to me because I didn't realize a company would offer to do that. Anytime I called their office, the staff was always very friendly and helpful wanting to make sure my needs were taken care of. Blackwell with Rainbow International would contact every time there was an update or if I ever had any questions, he was always available. I thought this situation was going to be a nightmare but Rainbow International has been there every step of the way to make process easier for us and I would highly recommend everyone to use their services. There is nothing more they could have done to make me feel more at ease and because of this, we are going to use them to handle all of the repairs in our unit. PERFECT SERVICE!!!

I had a frozen pipe burst in my upstairs bathroom. They responded exremely quickly. The started the clean up at 11pm and stayed until 3am. The equipment and tech they used saved my ceilings and walls. I explained to them that my house was a historic home (the oldest structure in my town) and they took great care to preserve my home. The drying process took several days but the company was there when I needed them. Thanks to them the old plaster walls were saved. The field and office personnel were courtious and profestional. I would reccomend them to anyone.

They subed out the cabinets and they were great. At the end we found one of the subs did some sub par work. I called Frank and he sent his electrician and plumber to correct what was wrong. The end result was great.
