AWFUL, ÀWFUL, AWFUL! The paint that he recommended to get began peeling within 6 months. After I complained, he came twice to do touchups... but never completed the job. I can't recommend this service.

We did not end up using him but he called and came out when agreed to. Nice person. Ended up using an insulation specific but would hire him for misc. handyman work.

Highly recommend using this company! Najera responds quickly and is very polite and professional. They did a great job and I will use them again in the future!

Najera's did an excellent job on our repairs. Not only was the price affordable he was extremely professional and timely. The quality of work was great. We were all impressed.

I was encouraged by the positive reviews on Angie's List, but unimpressed by my experience. To be honest, I was insulted by the ways Mr. Najera tried to upsell when he was giving his estimate. My personal favorite was when I asked him to replace the rubber strip that was coming off the bottom of our shower door. I must have a gullible face, because he insisted that I needed a whole new shower door. I showed him where the metal lip was screwed onto the bottom of the door and asked if he couldn't just replace that if the rubber strip couldn't be replaced (I knew it could). He insisted again that I would need to purchase a new shower door, and that he would install it for $200. I went with someone else, who spent all of $3 on a replacement strip and took 10 minutes to install it. In fact, the other guy completed all of the items on my list beautifully, for less than Mr. Najera quoted for the window trim alone.

Najares did an excellent job and was probably the best contractor I ever hired to perform work at my home. Excellent professionalism and great results, I will definitely hire them again and recommend them highly to anyone in the need of their services.

The work was completed in a timely manner at the promised time. The work was excellent quality. This is the second time I have used Najera and would use him and his professional crew again. Another family member has also used him and was extremely pleased with his work.

This is my third experience with this company, and I'm still pleased. Their work is excellent. Like other reviewers, I experienced a small scheduling mixup with the company once, but they promptly rescheduled and were on time (if not a slightly early) at the rescheduled time to make up for it. I highly recommend this company.

This company did an excellent job. This is my second time hiring them, and it went just as well as the first time. Both the owner and the workers are polite, punctual, and finish the job quickly. Mine was able to be completed before Thanksgiving, which was a real relief. I would definitely hire them again.

How did it go? - It didn't, He blew off his appointment on a Friday afternoon. He contacts me 45 minutes after hew was supposed to meet my contractor on the site to tell em he was sick. We all get sick and can't control it.... but the person wanting business calls 45 minutes AFTER they were supposed to be on site. I still don't have a paint quote and I own my contractor for travelling across town for a no show...pretty unprofessional.

I has water damage to a couple of pieces of wood siding on my house. Najera's replaced the siding and painted. It is professionally done and looks great. They were scheduled to come on a Friday, but couldn't make it and kept me informed by text; they came Saturday and were done in about 3 hours. I will definitely use them for other work on my house.

After initially setting up a day to meet with me and give me an estimate for the above work, Mr. Najera texted me to tell me he was "sick." After I attempted to reschedule for another day, he texted me to tell me he was still sick. I then set up a third appointment, for several days later, but this time he neither texted nor showed up. Like another handyman service I solicited for an estimate, Mr. N seemed (to me) suspiciously reluctant to meet either because I seemed too 'knowledgeable' about the job (or because I was male?). Either would mean that I would be less easy to scam? Suspicious behavior, or maybe just incompetence.

I cannot say enough good things about this company, including Mr. Najera or any of his workers. I am firmly convinced God sent him to me.

Najera's team did a fantastic job and finished quickly. They were very thorough and responsive when I asked them to change something.

Highly recommend this company! Mr. Najera and his crew were punctual, pleasant and professional. The job was priced well, and the quality of work was excellent. It's obvious that Mr. Najera and his workers take pride in their work and are passionate about what they do. They were just as excited about the finished product as I was. While they were working I added on a few additional tasks, and the job was still completed within the estimated timeframe. They were also very considerate of other contractors who showed up unexpectedly. I will definitely hire this company for future projects.

Better than I hoped for, everyone is very pleased

Mr. Najera was extremely responsive and worked hard to fit me into his busy schedule. His team arrived with all the equipment they needed and made the repair right away. I was very happy with the work.

This experience was extremely unprofessional! I called Najera at 8:30 am this morning to let him know my situation, and he told me to text him my address, and he'll call me back later. So that's exactly what I did! Then at 1:36 pm, he texted and called me back to back saying that he was ALREADY at my home, and that he wanted to come in to see the area that needed to be painted, so that he could give me a quote. Mind you, I was already in the process of taking my son to a doctor's appointment. When I was finally able to get in contact with Najera just 30 minutes later, he had told me that he was no longer interested in the job! This experience was very unprofessional because he never should have shown up at my house without making sure that I was available. Especially when there was no specific meeting time that we agreed upon in the first place. And then because he was upset that I wasn't home (even though he showed up unannounced), he decided to completely cancel the job!!!

Not well. He did not return an estimate as promised and would not answer phone calls.

Everything about the job went very, very well, and we are thrilled with the results. Najera was very professional, punctual, and earned our trust. The crew showed up on time and worked very hard to accomplish a tricky ceiling job in the exact time frame that was estimated at the start. Everyone on the crew went above and beyond, even helping out in a few cases without being asked. They took our feedback about the job very seriously, and came back to make sure it was done right. In Najera's own words, this team is not willing to leave the job 80% done and they are determined to get it done all the way.

Tasks performed well. Would use again.

He arrived as scheduled and laid out tarp on the carpeting leading up to the upstairs bathroom. He and this 3 men began the job. I did provide the tile and grout and he provided the greenboard and underfloor for the tile. This is the second job he did for me and he is very nice and takes pride in his work. He has a job or two going at the same time so he will drop his guys off and instruct them what he wants done and will leave until later in the afternoon. His men are respectful, quiet and know how to do their jobs well. Note that Gonzalo speaks Spanish and English and his men speak limited English, but they know what to do and are very respectful. Don't be shy to use them, you won't be disappointed.

It didn't go well at all because it appears he forgot that he was supposed to look at doing a floor job for me. I am a little disheartened because we thought signing up for Angie's List would help us find service providers that were reliable. I will keep trying. I know there is someone out there who wants to help and do a good job for us.

Mr. Najera and his team were extremely courteous and friendly. They were prompt and worked vigorously for about 15 hours over the two days. They spred the sand uniformly over the yard while filling in low places carefully. They raked the yard smooth as they pushed the sand into the grass. They do better quality work than I do which is saying something. I am delighted with the quality of their work. They do small construction work on houses, and I intend to hire them to do several small projects on my home.

Looks BEAUTIFUL! I contacted another vendor on this site and I didn't get a return call from him. Gonzalo called me back within 24 hours and started my big job the following week. A reminder that most folks on this site are small operators and you shouldn't expect a call right back, Give them 48hours....they are working, not talking on the phone. Thanks
