+ -1 moreHorrible workmanship, and an even worse shop owner!! The best thing going for this place is the secretary/ office manager. To you young lady , keep your head up, please don’t allow corrupt people to corrupt you and best of luck working for a callus *******!!! You know as well as I do exactly what took place, and so does the guy with the tattoos on the backs of both forearms ! I won’t ask you guys to defend me or make a statement because I’m sure you both need your jobs and that *** would probably fire you. Continue to try and make a difference in an environment you can’t possibly win in!
Description of Work: I went to Mr Tint to have the windows tinted on a 2014 Mustang GT that I purchased for my wife in 2013 for our 20th anniversary as an anniversary gift. To date the car has just over 15,000 miles on the odometer so needless to say it “was” in immaculate condition, garage kept. Long story short, I now have razor cuts in the glass, scratches under both quarter windows the full length of both and I paid these morons 380.00 for them ; in my opinion, to ruin my wife’s anniversary gift! I will say that the young lady that runs the office is a wonderful person and did all she could to rectify the situation; however, when you are employed by a ***** I guess your hands are tied. After having to this ******** owner of the business for almost a week, and being stood up by him, no call no show he finally decides to come out and look at the amateur at best tint job and only make excuses as to there being no way this happened at his shop and try to defend the what I consider horrible tint job. I threw the ******* off my property and told him I’d see him in court. I now have several estimates for over 2000.00 worth of paint and glass damage to my pristine automobile and one would think he’d have the decency to at least offer me a refund! Fat chance. If you are at all particular about the way your vehicle is cared for then this is definitely NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU!! Not to mention every time I post a negative review as a very dissatisfied customer , it mysteriously gets taken down! WHAT A FAT HEAD “ Buff {employee's last name removed}” coward!! Own your mistakes like a man ! Oops, I’m sorry , only men can do that, not cowards!!

+ -1 moreI don't know why I waited so long! From the time I called until the time the tint was complete was amazing. Very professional from start to finish! I have huge windows that face West and the afternoon sun, regardless of the time of year is brutal. I have no doubt this will save me and my electric bills from this point forward. He even honored a coupon I mentioned but couldn't find! If I ever need anything tinted ever again I have no doubts who I will call.

+ -1 moreOverall, I will never contact this company again nor will I ever recommend them to anyone else. There is just no excuse failing to notify a customer that an expected service person will not show up.
Description of Work: They were supposed to apply our window tint on a Wednesday or a Thursday. After not hearing from them on Wednesday, we called to confirm that they would be out on Thursday. No phone call and no one showed up. Called again Friday and were again given the assurance they would be out that afternoon. No phone call and another no-show. That was more than enough to send us to someone else.

+ -1 moreProfessional, efficient, courteous. We're very pleased with the service and the results. Have noticed a real difference in temperature and fabric/wood finish preservation. Especially pleased to be able finally to open shades and blinds on south side of house. We'd looked into doing work ourselves but very glad we didn't in the end and highly recommend having in done professionally, especially by Mr. Tint. The crew worked quickly and cleanly and even did some supplemental exterior window caulking at no extra charge.
Description of Work: Had a dozen windows on 3 sides of the house tinted (or filmed, rather). Due to loss of mature trees around the house, excessive direct sunlight was becoming a problem.

+ -1 moreThey have ratings on Angie's list and I used that in making my selection. The estimator came out to the house to do the measurements, the walk through. He gave me everything I needed in one visit. He was an expert. He brought everything that he needed and didn't have to go back to the office, just to get something. We had that kind of things happened as well. The products that they work with are reputable and top of the film for windows. They do it for businesses and residential as well. They showed up on time. They had all the equipment they needed. They got it done a little faster than we thought. They did a thorough and complete job. They answered our questions as they were doing it. We spend $3000 on the window tint and we don't know if we are doing the right thing. They were explaining everything that the products could do and how they were applying it and how we could get the warranty. The workers were great. The work is holding on fantastically. It made a big difference in the heat absorption of the house in South Carolina in August, which was a big deal.
