Description of Work: Mt. Valley evaluated our foundation problems. They installed 5 push piers and added a concrete footing for our chimney. They were prompt, professional, and clearly skilled in foundation repair. They also cleaned up before leaving.

Description of Work: Mount Valley installed two piers to right my leaning chimney. Everything went very smoothly. The process began with a Mount Valley salesman coming out and examining my house and laying out the options. Once we agreed on the work, we scheduled a time to have the work crew come out. The crew was on time but after digging down to the footer of the chimney they found the original construction was not sufficient to support the piers they were going to install without adding an addition footer. This crew was not equipped to do that work. The crew leader called their office and scheduled for another crew to come out and do the needed work. They were very apologetic. The next crew came out a week later and got right to work. They dug out the chimney footer, poured the new footer and installed the two piers. They also had to move my privacy fence. The work took several hours but they gave me updates as they worked. They also laid down a tarp to put all of the dirt they were digging up so as to not kill my grass. Once the work was done there was no trace that they had been there. The privacy fence was reinstalled with a post more firmly in place than before they had arrived. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no additional cost for the extra footer work that had to be done. A very good experience.

Description of Work: In June 2014, I used Mount Valley Foundation to level my 2-story house and my chimney. I waited until now to provide a review to make sure the job provided continuing stability to my house in all moisture conditions. |I would rate their service at six (6) stars if that option was available. |They always arrived when scheduled. They provided a well explained estimate. They used superior materials. They were professional, friendly, and courteous. They left the work sites in very clean and neat condition. Most importantly, when the installation crew found unexpected problems, they simply fixed them, without extra charge. For example, it turned out that I needed more support under my 1st floor (in the crawl space) and they simply put it in. Also, the footer under my chimney was only half installed (probably why the chimney was settling away from the house). They installed a proper footer and, after allowing time for it to cure, came back again to finish the leveling process. |I couldn't be more impressed with their professionalism and devotion to customer service. If your house needs leveling, and you live in their service area, you would be foolish not to contact them. |

Description of Work: We conferred with 3 foundation repair companies. All confirmed we had significant foundation movement, however Mount Valley's Edwin Moore pier number and placement plan was the most logical. He said we needed 7 piers and would do them for $6650 ($950 per pier). Of the 3 companies, Mount Valley was the only company that didn't apply an additional "per pier" charge if it was necessary to dig deeper than a certain number of feet. The price included filling in the mortar between bricks however the crew didn't bring the correct color of mortar. The crew was extremely professional and exceeded our expectations in order to make sure we were satisfied. DEFINITELY HIRE THEM!

Description of Work: INSTALLED TWO STEEL PIER SUPPORTS TO THE FOUNDATION. PIERS WERE SUNK APPROX 36 FT. TO GAIN SUPPORT FROM BEDROCK. THE FOUNDATION (CORNER SECTION) WAS JACKED UP TO RE-ALIGN WITH ITS ORIGINAL POSITION AND A WARRANTY WAS GIVEN.
