Mosquito Squad of Columbia

We signed up for a trial treatment back in March. It went very well, and we didn't see mosquitoes for months. Now we apparently need to get another treatment. I will try to use Mosquito Squad again, and would recommend them to anyone else.

Good. Showed up on time very professional.

Mosquitos were back after a week. I think they sprayed too quickly. It took them about 5 mins. to spray the front and backyard of a .25 acre lot.

It went great! They did both of my properties.

Everything went fine, and the technicians found no problems; however, I felt they were a bit like used car salesmen as well as being a bit arrogant. Follow-up calls continued until I asked them to please stop. When I make a decision, I will call, not the other way around.

Didn't need to be home, when we came back we noticed no bites and as a bonus, the next morning there were a lot of dead roaches on the front porch (YAY!!). For the first time all summer we were able to sit outside on the back porch. Started to get bit again after a few weeks (and a lot of rain), called them and they immediately scheduled a "re-set". Very nice on the phone, prompt and courteous.

I was very pleased with the thoroughness of the inspection--we heard him tapping the walls all around as he worked in the crawl space. After his inspection (no damage, thankfully), he explained Mosquito Squad's policies on termite prevention treatment and regular inspections. I felt a little bit of sticker shock about the cost of the treatment, but that's mainly the reaction of someone who's never had to do this kind of home maintenance before--I think it is probably a reasonable amount for the service. I was particularly impressed at Mosquito Squad's service guarantee--if they discover any termite damage after their initial treatment, they cover the cost of re-treatment and (if I read it right) the cost of repairing the damage. It sounds like they really back up their services. We haven't signed a contract with them yet for the treatment, but we plan to soon. Our technician was timely, efficient, and pleasant. I'm sorry I can't remember his name to give him the credit he deserves. I would unreservedly recommend Mosquito Squad for their termite inspection and treatment. Everything went well; the inspector was very professional and punctual. We would recommend.

Serviceman was late and didn't call with update. Preformed inspection. I felt the quote was a bit pricey for what I needed. Will continue to shop. Everyone who has called to follow up was very nice. Thanks.

They came to do a termite inspection. Everything went well. They conducted the inspection and reported back to me.

I thought the young man checked out the aerial of my home. He made suggestions, but I opted sue to cost. I was very impressed, but had to make a decision for me.

They were easy to work with. They worked around my schedule well. I needed a termite letter because I was refinancing my house so they gave me that with no issues. I was appreciative of their service.

It went well. However, it took two scheduling days, due to cancellation, for them to make the trip. The cancellations were due to weather. During the initial visit, the technician identified a loose board that contained termites under the house. I went under the house as well to verify his findings. Since it began raining, the technician was scheduled to return the next day to apply the application; however, I was not informed that I had to move items in the garage prior to the work. They wanted to reschedule the visit during the Thanksgiving holidays in order to have a long weekend, but I disagreed. I needed more time in the garage. When the work was finally completed, I felt a good job was done. The company needs to be more professional in dealing with customers. When I am spending my earnings, I resent being referred to as Carolyn. I informed them my name was Dr. Carolyn Smith, at least refer to me as Ms. Smith. In the final paperwork, they responded to me as Carolyn, Dr. Not acceptable.

Visual termite inspection. Moisture inspection of crawl space. Professional. Better than than other services at pressing upsells for additional services, insurance, etc. Good price for inspection service ( angies special) Pricey for additional services.

The $69 termite inspection went well. Colleen (the business owner) called me up immediately after I purchased the big deal and scheduled an appointment. The first appointment was about a few weeks ago and Gino, their technician came out. No termites so very thankful for that. There were some concerns in my house that I had and they were not termite related. Gino was very knowledgeable and helpful in pointing out moisture issues in my crawlspace that I was fully aware of, but provided solutions. Upon researching the suggestions, I found that to be the best route to go. Cost wise it was a good deal as well. He also helped me with a loose dryer vent (he didn't have to do that but he did) - that was nice. After some research, the loose dryer vent is one of the causes of moisture in the crawlspace. He also found issues that I knew about that a another termite company did not address when I first bought the house so I knew he was telling the truth; since I had done work in the crawlspace. Plus He didn't sell me anything I did not need and I was happy about that. He said that "We want to start with the basic solutions first and we'll see how it works". How many companies do that? Not many. I appreciated that a lot. Part of being an internet marketer and business owner myself - I understand sales psychology and when someone is using sales tactics to sell to me and when someone is not. Gino however was not at all salesy and was only 100% helpful, and in answering my many questions. ...which was why I decided to get a Termite treatment / bond and moisture barrier immediately knowing that he would be handling it. Hint Hint - Colleen, keep Gino as long as you can because he's a good worker. I knew I could trust him and Mosquito Squad. I could tell he loved his job and he told me he was taking classes with Clemson to advance his knowledge on preventive measures. So I had them do a Termiticide treatment with warranty for $900 (then it is $190/year) and a moisture barrier for an additional $550. They did most of it but had to come out a week later to finish it. I understand since it was a major job. They spent about 4-5 hours and then another hour today. I'd rather someone do it right than fast and that's what Gino and his guy did. Colleen the business owner, was on top of everything and was able to schedule me in quickly and they just completed the job. Thanks Colleen. All looks good and when I went under the crawlspace to talk to Gino an hour ago, I noticed that moisture levels have dropped already. Already? Yep - it doesn't feel as misty in there which is amazing and might get rid of that white mold before it gets dangerous. I'm happy. I appreciate all they have done for me and look forward to them servicing my house. So if you're thinking of giving them a shot - and don't know where your house stands in terms of termites or moisture issues, give Mosquito Squad a try and have them inspect your house thoroughly.

They're very professional and they give good service. They responded very quickly to me when I contacted them for scheduling.

Very thorough, gave a quote for a lifetime bond with transfer to future home owner. Followed up with a phone call whether or not I was interested in the lifetime termite bond.

I used them through a big deal on Angie's List. That service is a free service with a number of companies. The one reason I know that is because I have had my house checked for termites before. They were very nice. They were able to schedule immediately and come do the inspection immediately. They were available. They did do follow-up to further invite me to take on additional services. I don’t have any complaints. Another company will come out and do the same thing for us at no cost with the anticipation that we are going to take on their services. I think the inspection was thorough. I do know that they went beneath my home and shared information about what they saw. I think it was simply what they do. I think they likely did a typical inspection. The interaction with them was smooth. They were kind and they showed professionalism. They did follow-up offering the services which would have been the next step beyond the inspection.

They sent four people, they were here for about 20 minutes and they were gone. I haven't seen bed bugs ever since. There were a lot of dead beetles inside after that. I asked them to spray on the deck and they did that.

He performed a thorough inspection and found no termite problem.

Josh, the service tech fro mosquito squad arrived on time and explained to me what he was going to do. He went right to work inspecting my home. It took about 45 minutes. After completion, he informed me of the things that will require attention later and what needed to be done. I was very pleased with the outcome!

It was simple to reach them and schedule an appointment. They did come when I was not at home, but everything seemed to be okay. They left a sign in the yard after completing the work. There were no additional costs beyond the prepaid rate of the deal. After they completed the work, I did not notice any more mosquitoes. They have even recently followed up with me as well.

That went very well. The price of the deal seemed very reasonable, but I didn't get an extended service that was inquired. The treatment went really well. They were very prompt in getting it done. I think I would use them again, but I would have to figure out what their price was. The deal was a great deal, but I don't know what their existing customer price would be.

Found some problems, showed us the problems and provided solution options. We were well pleased with the service.
