She gave very good advice and it saved us money. She gave concrete suggestions regarding colors, fabrics, etc. and also provided sources for upholstery, rug, pillows, etc. She communicated with us by phone, in person, and via email, and had no problem with our doing whatever we could on our own. She charged by the hour and her billing was fair and what we expected. The final price included her time and some custom decorative pillows we ordered through her. This small project took several months, mostly because we were out of town a lot and not in a hurry. Sometimes it took a few days to communicate. She emphasizes making the best of what you have, to the extent that it will work with what you imagine.

It went great. Katherine and I hit it off immediately. She is open and easy to talk to and most importantly, she listens. She quickly understood my asthetic, what I wanted her to assist on, what my ideas and thoughts were and incorporated it all together. She guided me in making my own decisions but ensured it would all pull together and it did. I would work with her again in a minute.

She knows here stuff. She made some recommendations that were spot on for my dining room.
