+ -1 moreWe had a burst pipe coming out of the water heater due to overnight cold. I called a few plumbing companies and they were all busy fixing burst pipes. Mr. Karim was working on one when I called him around 4:30 PM. He came to our house around 5:00 PM. He and his assistant started working on the pipe right away. Mr. Karim is very friendly and efficient. It happened that he worked for the previous owner of the house a few years back. Mr. Karim finished the replacement in about half an hour and left for his next job. There seems to be a lot of burst pipes in Columbia area today. I think the price he charged is fair for a sort of emergency situation. I chose Mr. Karim's company because the previous reviewer mentioned that he is an honest person. I think the same way and would recommend him to people when need plumbing service.

+ -1 moreIt went great! Karim is very honest and won't do something that isn't necessary just to make money. He even mentors young guys and helps them learn the trade. Other plumbers I'm sure would have charged twice what he charged. I have recommended him to numerous people, and they have been very pleased.
Description of Work: I was having problems with the sewer backing up. This has happened before. Roots from the neighbor's pine trees had come through the pipes. Karim snaked the pipes and cleared out the roots. Then I asked him to look at my commode to see why I had to hold down the handle while it flushed. He fixed it in no time. He also replaced the pipe that had broken under the sink.
