JNS Cleaning Service

Jessica Singletary manages the business and cleaned with an assistant. She was enthusiastic and personable. She did a very thorough job cleaning that included some deep and maintenance cleaning of six (6) designated rooms, two (2) bathrooms and extended to changing the linen for our king sized bed. We had found her somewhat hard to get a hold of and were never able to get through by phone (i.e., always directed to an answering machine and voice mail but usually full with left messages unawswered). We did have greater success texting the day before she was due and indicating that we expected her the next day. For the most part, she appeared as scheduled (although sometimes needing to adjust the time by several hours). [We have also had to adjust schedules when out-of-town in the past and she accommodated these adjustments.] However, the last time (two weeks ago) she did not show for her scheduled appointment nor did she call and explain or try to reschedule. We texted her subsequently and indicated that, with guests coming to stay later in the week, making some arrangement for a visit that week was very much desired. We however heard nothing then nor have yet to hear anything back from her to date. She has apparently decided to quit providing service for us.....Jessica apparently did the same thing to an acquaintance of ours - just not showing up with no communication. In spite of the uncertainly that had crept into our contact with her regarding whether she would come when scheduled or would want to reschedule, we were satisfied enough with her work and flexible enough with our own schedules to accommodate rescheduling to keep employing her. However, the unprofessional way she stopped contact was very irritating. My daughter, who lives out of town, had previously stated that she would not have tolerated the uncertainties in our arrangement with her even before this last "straw." We had always had a cordial and professional relationship, were complimentary of her work and paid immediately at the point of each visit. That is why the discontinuation of service is all the most unprofessional and disquieting. I do not expect her to contact us again or to supply a palatable explanation for her actions. If she does contact us and provides a reasonable explanation (hard to imagine however), I will post a disclaimer.]

I will never use JNS again for anything. HOMEOWNERS BEWARE! I was a regular customer of JNS cleaning for over a year. I actually enjoyed my communications with Jessica Singletary and her team and originally found her to be very professional and they did a good job cleaning my house. HOWEVER, I had given JNS a key to my house for convenience. To make a very long story short, it came to my attention one day that JNS did not have my key to get in to my house. I let it go that one time but then about a week later contacted Jessica to ask about whether or not they found my key. At this point all communication from Jessica/JNS completely stopped. I sent numerous text messages, phone calls, voicemails over several weeks period and never heard back. One time a man answered her phone and pretended I had the wrong number. It was all very strange and very unsettling. It ended up that I had to give up and have my locks changed as clearly, my trust had been broken and there was no chance of me ever getting a satisfactory solution from JNS. I will say, that I am completely shocked with how this all turned out. I really did not peg Jessica as someone who would act so unprofessionally. However because of my personal experience, I would defintely not recommend doing business with Jessica Singletary and/or JNS Cleaning.

Fantastic they are very thorough and very pleasant to deal with. Reasonable price.
