 + 1 moreOver a near decade, Bill Young (the principal of Integrity Builders) did a wide variety of work on our home. The work ranged from small (replacing a broken pane of glass, relocating a toilet as part of renovation of a half bath) to extensive (repairing the considerable damage to the basement caused by the "thousand-year" rain in October 2015; repainting the kitchen cabinets). In every instance, the work was performed to the highest standard and in full compliance with any applicable building code. He knew well how the house was constructed, which allowed him to recommend that any work done would accord with the esthetic of the house along with the structural integrity. He worked well with others, carefully supervising those who worked directly for him, and ensuring that his work fit within any project for whom more than one contractor was needed.
Description of Work: Variety of activities around the home -- -- minor plumbing (reset toilet, replace intake valve) -- interior & exterior painting -- replace hinges & handles for kitchen cabinets; oversee repainting -- rebuild wooden gates in exterior fence -- repair water damage in exterior window frames -- etc.

 + 1 moreThings went very well overall. Considering that Integrity Builders had other projects going on as well they made use of their time to finish up my house as soon as they could. I was very pleased with the end results.
Description of Work: I had water damage in the bathroom that led to a sinking tub and floor. I had all of that repaired and new ceramic tile installed. There were some plumbing issues that were addressed as well. My washroom area had an exterior wall that was water damaged from a leak at the top of the wall. A small window was there as well and it contributed to some of the damage. The wall was torn out and so was a good portion of the floor. The wall and floor were replaced and the window was removed. All of the old linoleum flooring in the kitchen was removed so that I could install ceramic tile there. Seeing that I was having roof issues, a 30 year old roof, I had Integrity Builders bring in someone to re-roof my house with 30 year architectural shingles. My house was built in 1955 and used to have a floor furnace in it but it was removed 30+ years ago. Mr. Young suggested taking the chimney off the house and that made way to have a hall closet installed to gain more storage space.

Description of Work: I own 2 properties in Columbia. Bill Young with Integrity Builders and Remodelers has completely renovated each of them for me twice over the past 20 years. In addition, he has taken care of miscellaneous painting and repairs as required to include extensive repairs from broken water lines in both properties.
