+ 1 morePaul Haynes was an absolute pleasure to work with. He communicated well, he showed up when promised and his crew was polite and hardworking. He understood what was needed to do a remodel in a historic (old) home and gave us excellent advice on what we could and could not do. When he discovered a problem that needed attention, he explained what needed to be done and why, and gave us an accurate idea of the additional cost. He listened to our opinions as the homeowners, but also offered his much expert opinion if he thought something wasn't going to work or look good. Throughout the job, he made sure his crew's work was up to his very high standards, and he made sure we were happy with results. Overall, working with Haynes Construction was an excellent experience and we plan to use him again in the future.
Description of Work: Gutted the master bathroom in our historic home down to the floor joists, repaired a serious problem with the joists and remodeled the entire bathroom - installed tile floor and tile tub surround, repaired and painted walls, built custom cabinets, installed pre-made vanity and new toilet, reinstalled vintage clawfoot tub with new plumbing and fixtures.

+ -1 moreHayne's construction was a pleasure to work with. Paul was the first contractor out of many that I contacted that I could count on actually calling me back in a timely manner. Paul and his team were very polite and easy to work with. They were very flexible and accommodating to our requests while providing professional advice. Paul is very committed to ensuring the customer is happy with the results. There was a small "blemish" after the acid staining and he quickly came back out at no charge to touch it up. I would recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: Widened driveway and extended it down the side of the house. Also added ~400 sq ft to an existing patio and finished with acid stain.

Description of Work: I needed to have two doors replaced -- a patio sliding door and front door. Mr. Haynes gave me a very thorough estimate which involved replacing a rotten sill on the patio door. The price for both doors was very reasonable. I selected a french door for the patio rather than the sliding door that was previously installed. The work was done very professionally. The workers were very polite and accommodating. I am totally pleased with the results and the cost and will likely use the company again in the near future for additional work. I am just hoping this recommendation does not make them too busy to come and work for me again!

+ 0 morePaul and his team showed up on time the very first day and explained what they would be doing. We needed to have access to parts of the house during the installation and they made every effort to make sure that there were as little disruptions to our lives as possible. The day or 2 before they needed us to disconnect the TV, they let us know so we had minimal time without the electronics. As they finished a particular area, the furniture was moved back so we didn't have a "construction zone" They stayed late the final day to make sure that all the details of the job were completed--- very professional and easy to work with would have them back for any future projects
Description of Work: Paul and his team installed hard wood flooring in the entire first floor to match the existing hard wood in the hallway and formal dining room (of our 10 year old home). They were true artisans and wove the new flooring in with the old flooring---- the results are spectacular!!!! We had a few bumps in road---- namely some areas of mold under the carpet--- Paul and Toby made mutliple trips to Lowe's to make sure the project was done right--- they had to paint a sealer on the floor before installing the hardwood and installed a dehumidifier in the crawl space under the house. Paul even brought the dehumidifier he had purchased to install in his Dad's house to see if that would solve the problem before we had to incur an additional expense. Worked like a charm. They were on time, on buget, and professional in every sense of the word---- they are coming back in a few weeks to install tile in the kitchen (to replace the old linoleum). I will contact them for ANY and ALL future projects

+ 0 moreThe owner always shows up, and he is very personable and intelligent, which I think is important. His prices are reasonable. The work is of great quality. He will come back if there are any problems. I use him exclusively for my real estate work, so I know that I can trust him.

+ -1 moreThey were prompt and quick which was nice, as it had to be done very quickly. They came out on the day I called them and got the job done on the same day itself. They were very professional and really easy to work with. I felt comfortable working with them. The quality of their work was good and I don’t have any complains about them. I would use their services in the future as well.
