E-mailed service provider February 16th. Received quick reply that he was in the area and would drop by to check it out and provide an estimate that very day. I e-mailed back to thank him, confirm we had no dogs in our back yard and he could drop by in our absence. Also mentioned that we had another crew providing an estimate that he might bump into but no problem, stop by at his convenience. No further contact. E-mailed the following day, 02/17 to ask if he had in fact stopped by, no contact still. Today, 02/21, still no contact. Unless something unusual has befallen the service provider (in which case I'm sorry and will gladly revise this review post explanation...) he/they are turned off by the mere thought of a competitor's estimate.

Great! The fence looks great and the gates are super sturdy

The company arrived on time and did the work in one day. They were polite and cleaned up everything before they left.

Set up an appt with this company. When he didn't show up after being 1.5 hours late, we contacted him and he said he was at another "big" appt. at USC and would be there soon. Came and surveyed the fence. Didn't hear back from him for about 5 days. We contacted him, left a message and he returned our call after another 3-4 days. We missed the call and called him back about an hour later. He acted like he didn't know who we were (mind you, he just called us) and said he would call us back shortly. He never did.

My request for an estimate was totally ignored even after a second phone call. That kind of lack of responsibility or incompetence does not bode well for them actually performing a fencing job. Very disappointed in what looked like a respected contractor with good reviews.

Demolition was a breeze and the installation went fast. Clean up was excellent. Loved the staff, too.

The sales rep responded promptly to our request for an estimate (others didn't return the call). She came when she said she would measured and gave us an estimate and a tentative schedule for installation. We paid a down payment and got a call a couple of days later to confirm an installation date. The installers came when scheduled, did the work quickly, cleaned up and left and we had a fence. We have used Guardian before and this is consistent with past experience. They may not be the cheapest around but they do quality work and have a quality product and are very responsive and customer focused.

My experience with Guardian fence suppliers went fine. I know the owner personally, that's why I chose them. Everything was done nicely there are no complaints.

The fencing was heavy commercial grade mounted on top of a retaining wall, on a hill, so not so easy to reach. They had to clear underbrush and weed trees before the fencing could be replaced. They did a great job and hauled all of the debris away with them.

They were efficient, competitive and very nice to work with. They are the real thing. They are the professionals. They know what they are talking about.

Fence installation was the start of the problems. They tried to install a fence post up against a tree as if that was okay -- meanwhile the tree would grow around it and/or it would be difficult to cut down the tree without removing the fence post first. After I insisted, they reluctantly moved the post. However, the gate is still a mess -- very low quality -- paint is already flaking off and rusting. Everything was supposed to be powder coated so that it would not rust. They are extremely difficult to work with and keep trying to pass of bad workmanship as good by using a little sandpaper on the flaking paint and spray painting over the old paint! The gate looks like garbage, but they still seem to expect the full price they quoted even though they have not performed to the contract. They have also damaged the metal of the gate. The only good thing I can say at this point is that the Ameristar fence manufacturer does make a good product -- too bad they don't make custom gates to go with their fences -- if they did I wouldn't be having so many problems with it.
