+ -1 moreOur AC unit is getting old and probably should be replaced soon. John, the serviceman, was able to "boost" its performance a little bit. I won't get into the details, however, we're satisfied that he did what he could. We're now looking into installing a new geothermal system.
Description of Work: Our AC unit was not cooling very well. We called Dixie for servicing, based on the good report found here. We were not disappointed. Even though our need wasn't urgent, they came that very day. (They were already working in our area and one of their jobs had been completed earlier than expected.) The serviceman was courteous and efficient. We will definitely use Dixie in the future.

+ -1 moreWe were dealing with a much larger company with whom we had a service contract and were dismayed to hear them report on a routine inspection that our entire downstairs heating unit needed to be replaced. We contacted Dixie Heating and Cooling for a second opinion. They came promptly and were able to fix the problem easily and inexpensively. It turns out that the units functions perfectly. Since that time they have taken over our maintenance and have gone above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that we have timely inspections. No "unexpected" catastrophic findings have been noted.
