Crew Plumbing & Drain

Initially, there was a glitch in getting the appointment scheduled which caused no great consternation to us. Owner Chris kept us informed concerning availability of his crew. Then, within a reasonable amount of time, the appointment did gel and, to get the deal accomplished, technician Tim arrived at our house at the scheduled time on a Saturday. He was methodical, efficient, knowledgeable and he explained everything in detail. I would have no hesitation in again using the services of this company.

They found the correct replacement parts and the new equipment I needed to upgrade my old split-system heat and A/C with a modern and efficient heat pump.

The appointment had to be rescheduled at the last minute because the surge protector was not available from the supplier. They called to inform us and apologized for the inconvenience. Tim completed the job in an efficient manner and was very professional. We are very happy with the results!

They were able to fix the flange and water proof the shower. They let the shower run for 10 minutes to make sure there were no leaks, and had two guys stand in the shower to check that the flange was secure. They were careful taking down the ceiling so that the repair would be easier. We are very happy with the results.

Chris called me as soon as I purchased the deal. At that time I was not prepared to have the work done. He was very patient with me. Once Chris came to look at the space we scheduled the work. He acquired the thermostats and one of the smoke detectors. They were very conscious of the fact that we were going to have to repair the ceiling drywall and made the cuts in rectangles, retaining the pieces, so that the repairs would be minimized. They showed up a little late on the days that they said they would be there, but the work was completed within the original time frame. They were very good about cleaning up after themselves. The kitchen looks great, the new lights open up the whole area and I am thrilled with the thermostats.

he was called to give me an estimate ( supposedly free but with a min of 70 charge for time and travel ) when I questioned this at length and agreed to the charge . He turned around and cancelled the appointment deciding he didn't want to go "back and forth" . if you did not agree with the estimate cost he then told me he charges a diagnostic charge of $109.00. I don't think he knows the meaning of free estimate at all. . I did managed to get a free estimate from another rated 'A" angieslist electrician which I will gladly rate upon completion of the job. > Mr' Soles bragged about his "A" rating with you but it sure was not deserved at this end . I can honestly rate him a big fat Zero

The experience was great. They give good service.

Very professional, timely, and knowledgeable in their craft. It was a little more expensive than I hoped it would be but they also give a decent military discount. Would definitely recommend working with them in the future.

Our ceiling fans were installed by Tim in about 1.5 hours and the dripping faucet was repaired by Daniel in about 10 minutes. Both workers were courteous and patiently answered all of our questions. Chris the owner of the business treated us to this 99 Dollar deal because of some time delays due to a car accident he had. We are pleased with the work they did.

Daniel showed up on-time and went straight to work. He replaced the handle on an exterior water faucet (spigot) and then began working on the kitchen sink. He replaced the valves under the sink and the problem I was having was resolved.

Crew HVAC is a fantastic company. I have used Crew (Chris) for multiple AC repairs (I have several rental properties and I have been looking for a trustworthy/consistent AC service provider). I have finally found that in Chris. He is very responsive and always makes sure to at least diagnose the issue the same day I call. This is rare in the midlands. In addition, he is very thorough and makes sure to not only explain the issue, but will walk you through the repair process. Hands down the best HVAC company in the midlands!

I live in MD and own a rental house in SC that my college aged sons rent with roommates. We were only going to be in SC for a few days to do some projects on the house. I needed to get the hall bathroom light fixed. I called and explained that I was only there for a few days. They came right over, told me who my technician was and took care of things. The next day, we noticed that the dryer vent hose had holes in it and lint was getting everywhere. So we bought a new hose at Home Depot and attempted to replace it ourselves. We could not get the clamps on correctly to get a tight fit. So in a panic ( I was leaving town that afternoon) I called Crews and asked if they could replace a dryer hose. Within 2 hours they sent the same tech back and he took care of it for me. I really appreciate the quick service and their understanding that I was only there a few days and needed stuff done. The only thing I did not like was that I was never given a detailed receipt for the work. I was told the cost ($69 for the first visit on the bathroom light and $89 to fix the dryer vent) and wrote them a check. But I did not receive a receipt or even a business card. This may be something they want to improve on. I like having a receipt to file so I can see what work I had done when.

This was not the first time we used Crew. The previous time was for electrical and they did a great job for us. I was out of the country when one of the air conditioning units died. My husband contacted Chris and he was at our house the next day ( he offered to come sooner but my husband told him that it was not necessary) The unit had to be ordered and it arrived within a day and Chris replaced our old unit with a new one. Everything was professionally done and once again Chris came through for us. We have given many friends his name and are very comfortable knowing that he will do a good job for them. Since then the new unit has worked very well and we are certain that we will be using Crew again in the future since we do have a second unit that is currently close to death.

Chris Soles is the most professional, honest, and courteous tradesman that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He inspected the HVAC, electrical, and plumbing of my mother's vacant home from the crawl space to attic. Unfortunately, criminals had stolen the HVAC, copper plumbing, and had damaged the electrical wiring. Chris provided superior quotes for replacing & repairing all three of these areas of concern. In addition, he recommended a company with a great reputation for quality (with reasonable costs) to assist us with remodeling the home and correcting other damages done by the hoodlums that had broken in. Crew Heating, Air, Electrical, & Plumbing L.L.C had the best price for each service quoted. There references were solid and their reputation amongst the other trades that I was dealing with spoke volumes as to their competency.

Chris did an excellent job with the plumbing and Tim did the same with the electrical work. They were very courteous and explained what why they were repairing the items. The price was reasonable for all the work they did. We felt very comfortable and would clearly use them again.

Mr Soles was courteous &professional. He performed his service & cleaned up any debris. Beyond the installation, he checked over the electrical panel making a series of adjustments (e.g. tightening the screws on the breaker connections). He discussed other possible future electrical work that I'm contemplating.

Initial contact was delayed due to overwhelming response to Angie's List deal, but he did get with us and schedule an appointment. That appointment got cancelled because he was sick. He was hard to reach for a whole week due to phone issues, but did reschedule. Once he got here, he was very accommodating. He did everything we asked and did a good job. He didn't charge extra for looking at our gate opener. He was careful to ask if everything was done to my satisfaction which it certainly was. 7/10/2014 UPDATE: Everything he installed is working great. Called him again for a complicated plumbing issue and he was very responsive and is actively working to help solve my problem.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. There were no extra charges other than the price for the Big Deal. They were very efficient, they got the job done, cleaned up, and it worked out good.

I contacted Chris Soles several weeks ago. I did not get a call back for several days. Finally I got an answer. He had had cell phone trouble and didn't get his messages. OK, no problem, I understood. He was overwhelmed by the amount of Angie's List responses to the $29 deal, so I gave him extra time to come to my house. It wasn't an emergency; I had purchased a new faucet and wanted it installed. We set a date a couple of weeks away for June 14th. He called that day to say his windshield had been broken and would be delayed, as he had to wait for the repair. Later he called to say how busy he was, he had 5 other service calls the same day, and I told him not to worry about it - to get there when he could. I never heard from him again. I called on that Friday evening, again on Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon, and several times since then, including today, June 24th. No response. I'm appalled that he never responded to my phone calls.

Initially very nice person to meet and he was prompt for the original meeting. Came to the house to provide a quote for adding service to a new garage/shop. Was suppose to call me back with a quote, but did not. Had to call him back for the quote. Then, when asked about changing the quote for additional requirements, he never called back again with a new quote. I had to call him back again, but was unable to get a hold of him. The work was eventually completed, promptly, professionally, to code, and for less than Chris' original quote, by a competitor. I also learned that information about how the work had to be done and what it would cost was not correct from the company that completed the work; who again completed the work promptly, professionaly, and to code for less cost.

I used CREW previously in one of the online deals and they were fabulous. I gave them a great rating. However, I bought a second deal for plumbing for $99 and waited around for the scheduled appointment....no show, no phone call. Later in the day he called and said he had gotten the dates wrong and was very apologetic. I figured anyone can make a mistake, so we rescheduled for the next week on a Monday at 10. At 11 I still had not heard from him and called and got voice mail. By 12 I had to move on with other things, so I called again and left another voice mail. After that, I called Angies' List to get my money back and I will have to call another plumber to do the job. I will not be using them again.

Chris came on time, and ran into a few issues due to old outlets and the way they were installed the first time, but he had what he needed, went right to work, and did a very thorough professional job. I found him through Angie's List, and was charged $49 over the $69 I paid for service call and one hour of labor simply due to it taking more than the hour. I was very pleased, and would call on him again for electrical work.

Did not use service, it was their choice not to do the job.

Electrical problem was traced back to main power box and fixed.
