Crew Plumbing & Drain

I called Crew late Friday afternoon just to check and see if it was possible to have someone check the leak and give me an idea of the cost. I was called back twice and was informed that someone could come by to check on repairing it. I was told there is a 39.00 diagnostic which would be applied to the bill if they repaired it. When I noted I heard about them through Angies List, they said there is a 50.00 off coupon through Angie's List. I was informed that someone could be by at 5:45. Kevin arrived, assessed the situation, gave me a ballpark idea of the cost and offered to work on it then even though he was on his way to another job. He and his son were very professional, polite and pleasant. I am very pleased with the fact that it was Friday afternoon, someone was actually able to come out and that they were able to get the job done in about 40 min!

Erin, who answers the phone is polite, very helpful and prompt with return calls. Paul, the plumber who came to our house, was professional, knowledgeable and looked for ways to save us money. One of the best service companies i have used - i highly recommend them!

Technician showed up on time, communicated exactly what he was doing, and stayed late to finish the job during his v isit.

Responsive to issues we asked them to fix. Uncovered some other issues and fixed those as well for us. Responsive to calls.

Chris arrived right on time and set to work in the pouring rain. He worked very fast and very hard- and did an excellent job in yucky weather. He made sure water was flowing before he left. He was a life-saver.

Our first contact was for a few simple repairs, which Kevin handle well. We have since had him back for other minor repairs. But then the freeze hit Jan 5 and 6. Kevin spent two days repairing 9 major leaks, most in our very small crawl space. He was totally professional, stayed with me until everything was done. It cost a pretty penny, but was very fair for the amount of time and work done. I have Crew on speed dial.

Erin was very helpful and kept me updated on the service call. I work from home and wanted to be able to discuss everything with Kevin. He was very thorough and explained each of the issues between the phone calls on my business line. The faucet we purchased was too big for our sink and he volunteered to complete the home inspection while my wife, ran and picked up another. Will do business again.

Before I even bought the Big Deal, I had already contacted Crew Plumbing regarding gas hook up for my new gas dryer. When I realized that the Big Deal was with the same company, I suggested they do both while they were here. They did a marvelous job on the gas line hook up for the dryer and tried to find an access port for the drain inspection and clean out. Since they could not find an access port and therefore could not do the drain work, they suggested I contact Angie's list for a refund.

Couldn't be better. The work included installing shut-off valves on the shower and sink in our upstairs bathrooms and the quality of the work is excellent, including cleanup.

They were great. On time an professional. Went right to work and was very neat. Finished under 2 hours and was very plesant.

The yard people recently mowed "off" the cap to the overflow connection. I wound up with sewage in the backyard, turns out there were roots that had clogged up the line. I definitely prefer the sewage being in the backyard than overflowing in the house! Since I had the day off I decided to find a plumber, I consulted Angie's List and found Crew Heating and called. The owner, Chris, answered the phone, and we discussed the problem. He was working at a location not too far from me. Chris said he would come by when he finished the job he was on, and it would be about an hour and a half. He was actually here in about an hour! Chris checked out the problem and determined the blockage was actually on the other side of the connection and it was the city's responsibility. I did have the option of Chris working on the blockage. I decided go ahead and have Chris do the work. (Having lived within the city limits for a number of years, I don't have a lot of faith in the city). I am extremely happy with Chris' promptness and that he was able to take care of the problem while he was here. The cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend Crew Heating, and will be using them again. I need some electrical work done and we discussed what I would need to buy (wireless doorbell and motion sensor light fixture) to be installed.

We called Crew when we noticed a smell coming from our heating unit and the thermostats had no power. Chris arrived within a couple hours and diagnosed the problem promptly. A wire nut had failed in our HVAC system, and ultimately burned up the transformer. Chris replaced the transformer and correctly rewired the system. Once again, we are extremely pleased with the prompt/courteous service that we received from Crew. We highly recommend this company!

Plumber called to inform us of the time of his arrival. He removed his boots without being asked when entering the house. He presented options for doing the repair and completed it in a timely manner.

Chris and his crew arrived at the set appointment time. They promptly got to work on a long list of items that we needed done. As usual, we were very pleased with the prompt and courteous service from Crew. We highly recommend this company!

Kevin came on time and did a beautiful job. The caulking if perfect. He even cleaned the floor in the work area.

The experience with Crew Electrical was terrible. Initially, I called 3 times before anyone returned my call. When Chris did call me back, he was rude. He sounded put-off by my call and said usually "his girls" answered the phones but they were having problems with the phones that day. He also said I had signed up for plumbing. I told him I had signed up for electrical and he was condescending and said "I will let you do electrical anyway." When we did schedule, I forgot to give him our gate code. I called to reschedule and he sounded frustrated but did reschedule for January 10 at 3pm. He did not show up or answer any phone calls when I tried to get in touch.

All they did was fix a leaky faucet, but they also fixed a leak under the house, advised me on options for when the leak comes back, educated me on typical southern architectural design and did it all in half the time I expected them to!

The plumber installed ;the new garbage disposal without difficulty and explained how to clean it. He did a very nice job. Tthen he fixed a loose drain on the other side of the double sink, and did a great job there. There were loose pvc pipes under that drain and the pipes were too short. He lengthened and tightened those too. He was prompt, neat, and pleasant. Would definitely recommend Crew Plumbing.

It went very very well and looking forward to calling on them in the near future.

The company was very professional and helpful, but we were able to unclog the drain by ourselves before they scheduled to come. We called them the day before to let them know that we did not need their service. But they said we had to contact Angie's list to get a refund.

Chris was professional, explained the how and why of the work he was going to perform, and all with a dry sense of humor! The quality that makes Crew Plumbing stand out from other providers I have used is Chris takes the time to educate you, offers recommendations, and has competitive pricing. I will be calling him back to install faucets in the very near future. If you have ever felt that you were ripped off by a service technician then you will see why Chris is a diamond in the rough.
