McKinley responded quickly to my inquiry, was able to come out for 1/2 day within the week, and kept me in the loop for his arrival time. He requested pictures of what I needed done, so that he could come prepared. He worked quickly, stayed late, and was very professional. He also gave me ideas for further upgrades and was able to put me in contact with other experts in various fields (cabinet refinishing, outdoor electric, etc.). He ran electricity and installed a new garbage disposal, switched out kitchen faucet, hung 6 pictures for a wall collage, showed me how to switch out uplighting for outdoors, tacked siding on kitchen cabinet, and even stayed late to fix my little boy's ride on 4-wheeler. I could tell that he takes pride in his work and in his brand. I will definitely use him again.
- I am new in town and I had no idea who to call to put together the IKEA furniture I had bought. He was very professional, came on time, worked very well, he cleaned up after he finished. I am usually picky about how I like things done and I have to say he did awesome! He put together 2 bookcases, an 8 drawer dresser and a desk, all $200. I though it was a reasonable price. If I need anything else done at home, I would call him again 100%.

"I am so sorry I didn't respond from the angieslist message center! I have asked angieslist to allow those messages to get forwarded to our email address but it doesn't seem to be a possibility. I had not signed into the message center in a long time so I did miss a few messages, I apologize profusely! After Brian installed the dryer venting, he installed the new dryer that I had Lowes deliver. I personally have not seen the work yet but my mother is very happy and she was very happy with Brian and the work he did.
I would definitely recommend Brian and will use him again in the future.

"I am so sorry you didn't get the estimate! Most people ask us to email or call them with the estimate (and some just ask us when we can schedule to do the work and just let them know what it will cost the day we get there, trusting us based on our reviews and their need to get it done right and quickly). We don't often get asked to send out an estimate by postal mail and it tends to get lost and adds a good bit of time between initially seeing the project, getting numbers in front of them, and then hearing back and scheduling a time. Usually email or calling is quicker and more reliable. In this case she wanted the estimate mailed to her and we sent it by postal service but she didn't get it. Unfortunately we never heard that she didn't get it (until seeing a bad review appear on our Angieslist, which is frustrating because this is permenant) If she didn't get it within a reasonable time, 3-4 days or a week, we would have liked her to call us and ask, "hey did you get that estimate in the mail?" and we could have let her know it should have gotten there and that we would resend one or let her know the price over the phone (while also sending out a new copy) We never intend to miscommunicate. Please, Please, Please before writing a bad review let us make it right to you. If you asked us the mail something, call us to see if we forgot to send it or if it got lost in the mail. Such a simple solution, but it keeps bad reviews from permanently tainting good companies who have a good track record. By the way, we called her when we saw this happened and have resent the estimate. It could have been taken care of a while ago. Hopefully (if she wants us to do the work) a good review will come out of this! :)"
"I appologize for taking a while to get back with her about the window! We just talked on the phone and I did find what will work and am scheduled to install it next week! I have been so busy with handyman project, but it's no excuse for taking longer than I should have. I'm grateful for her wonderful review just before this one of the large project I did for her, and am glad to finally take care of her on this other project. Repeat customers are the best! She seems happy and taken care of, I hope to regain her trust. You never want to hear "Don't trust him or her" and our goal is to never have that said of us!"
