Consuelo Riggs

I received Consuelo's name from a friend of mine. I have been very disappointed with my maid services (I've had two) in the past. The first was not very consistent, and worked less and less as each week passed. The second service I used did a very good job cleaning, but was not consistent in keeping my scheduled time or calling me back. Consuelo is all the things the other two services weren't. She is very consistent each visit. She often finds things I would not have expected her to clean (a very dirty pot I used to make turkey stock) and I come home and it's sparkling clean. She is forward-thinking. Consuelo is also extremely dependable. She shows up at her scheduled time every week. Also, I find if I would like for her to do something extra or different, I just leave her a note. She's very accommodating. I've also noticed that she always makes sure the water bowls are filled for my dog. I cannot say enough good things or how pleased I am with Consuelo. After having multiple cleaning services in the past, I feel absolutely blessed to have found her. My husband and I are both very busy young professionals. I cannot express how relaxing it is to come home after a long day of work to see the house sparkling after Consuelo has visited. Update 7/18/12: I would not recommend Consuelo. She started out strong, as most house cleaners do, but the quality of her service has deteriorated to a point of no return. One week she will forget to sweep, the next, she doesn't clean a bathroom. In the last few times she has cleaned my house, I have not been satisfied. I am very disappointed because for the first few months, it was great having her. I have also recently learned the person who recommended her to me has also had to discontinue her services. At this juncture, I regret putting her on Angie's List and recommending her to anyone.
