This is in regards to the Fernandina Rd location. The company won't provide any information regarding costs; however, they will send someone to your home to provide an estimate. I called the company to ask some questions prior to having someone come out and the woman I spoke with barely let me finish my questions. I asked to speak to someone else, but she wouldn't let me speak to anyone. She also would not take my name/number/email for someone to call me later. In my opinion, that is not good customer service.

They offered the best price among the many vendors we checked with, and they came recommended by a friend who had also recently had windows installed. They did the work promptly and efficiently. About a year later, we had a problem with the picture window (seal had broken and glass discolored) which they promply fixed by installing an entirely new window (under warranty). After 3 years the windows still work smoothly; they definitely cut down outside heat and noise.

They were good and the price was reasonable.

Our home was built in the summer of 2009 and did not come with gutters. By the fall of 2010, the water running from our roof had eroded significant trenches around our new home. We considered flooding the trenches and calling it a moat, but decided gutters would be a better choice. One evening, I spotted a couple of guys from Champion of Augusta installing gutters at a neighbor’s home and asked them to take a look at ours. In all fairness, I knew this was not an "official" estimate, but they measured and gave me a price of about $1200 (right about where I figured it). They clearly explained that an Estimator would have to give me a real estimate when I was ready. I thanked them and took their business card. Five months later, I called the same folks. Their Estimator came and told us our gutters w/ four downspouts would be ~$2100 dollars! I thought he was dyslexic! When we choked on the estimate, he pulled my favorite car-salesman trick by saying, "Let me talk to my manager and see what I can do." He went outside and sat in his truck while talking into his cell phone in a very animated manner. When he came in, he offered to drop the price $50. We told him that his price was unacceptable. This time he said, "I like you folks and I want you to get these gutters... Let me talk to my manager again." He went outside and paced back and forth on our lawn while waving his arms and speaking loudly to his manager. When he came in he told us there was nothing he could do about the price. At this point, he tried to sell us on the quality of Champion products and services... better material, 6" gutters (No one else installs 6" on residential!), and a superior warranty. Suddenly his cell phone rang. It was the mysterious and remote manager calling to let us know he could knock another $100 of the estimate, but we had to sign tonight! He explained how our window of opportunity on this was very short because soon, Champion would be attending trade shows, business would boom, schedules would fill up, and we wouldn't get our gutters until the fall. Now I just wanted this guy to leave. I'd had enough. I told him I needed additional estimates and in a snarky manner he said, "If you're just shopping for the cheapest price, you'll find better, but it won't be Champion quality." I told him that was enough and that I would get back to him. A couple of days later, I got an estimate from All Pro Aluminum. Their estimate was ~$1200... the same quote Champion gave me before they got greedy. All Pro Aluminum did a first-class job with the same material (6”), two additional downspouts, and a better warranty.

I spent $41000 for the work done by them. I would recommend them because they were prompt and congenial. They knew every aspect of adding the room. We had a person come out and sit with us and discuss about it. They described what they were going to do in detail. They fulfilled every bit of that. They did an excellent job. Their price was reasonable.

pretty bad. next time I had windows replaced (a total of 9) I used Taylor, much better experience (and price). Champion sales person committed to replacing the sill. When the window show the 2 person 'crew' said we don't do that. It took a call to to sales person and a trip to Lowes to get this started. The 'crew' a retired contractor and a novice. The 'veteran' starts taking the old window out with a hammer and hammer only. I literally had to yell at him to get his attention. He didn't want to walk back to his truck to get additional tools. He instructed the 'kid' who had no clue what else to bring. One of several 'raised' voices exchanges. Once the window pulled (actually broken and fell to the outside) I noticed some additional wood work that needed maintenance. Response, no cannot do this, do you want the window in or not. Without the repair the window went in with a slight sag. The seal has leaked on it 6 months later. Which was replaced per warranty, but only after weeks of repeated calls. Bottom line call Taylor for a comparable. Don't use Champion unless it's the most basic job.

They have a very good product. There was a repair that needed to be done and they responded immediately. They showed up on time for work and the cleaned up after themselves.

Three man team arrived on time as scheduled, removed old windows and put in new windows. Order was not complete because of poor quality control from the factory and from store not checking to see if all parts were accounted for and enough material was on truck. Windows were installed but the following was not completed. Inside stripping to one large window, stationary brackets for both large windows were not included from the factory to secure the center windows in place to keep them from moving and a screen was taken off of the truck and hung with a 1 1/2 inch cut. All deficiencies were noted and was told the factory did not send enough material,it would have to be ordered. Took one (1) week from date of installation for worker to return and finish installation to satisfaction. Not the worker's fault material was shorted but the factory's fault for poor quality control.

NOT SO GREAT. HAD AN APPOINTMENT THAT WAS CANCELLED 20 MIN. AFTER THE TIME THEY WERE TO HAVE ALREADY BEGUN WORK. CANCELLED BECAUSE THEY DID NOT A CREW TO COME. SECOND DAY THE "CREW" TURNED OUT TO BE A ONE MAN DEAL. HE WAS LATE ARRIVING. VERY FRIENDLY GUY BUT HE STARTED OUT BY SHOWING ME THE TWO SPECIAL ARCHED WINDOWS WERE DAMAGED BUT HE WAS TOLD BY COMPANY TO INSTALL THEM AND THEY WOULD ORDER NEW AND COME ANOTHER TIME AND REPLACE THEM. I SAID NO AND LET HIM ONLY INSTALL THE CORRECT ONES HE HAD. I DELAYED PAYING UNTIL TWO ARCHED WINDOWS WERE FINALLY INSTALLED. THE MANAGER OF CHAMPION HAD A BAD ATTITUDE AND NEVER REALLY APOLOGIZED. INSTALLER VER NICE AND CLEANED UP PRETTY WELL AFTER HIMSELF.
