I first met Scott with this company when he was doing my parents home and my mom was raving about his work. Later on, he had done one of their friends homes as well remodeling their kitchen. Well, when I noticed the bottom of my shower cracked I knew exactly who to call and was pleased with him as well! He is able to take an idea and expand on it making it better than my original one. He is an artist when it comes to his work. He was able to save me some money by getting me a deal on a certain type of tile and allowing me to upgrade from the pre fab type stuff I already had in my house. I am soo planning on a major project to my kitchen soon and will be calling on this company again.

Scott and team were referred to me by Crew Heating, Air, Electrical, & Plumbing LLC. They throughly reviewed the remodeling potential in our home, which helped us make our utlimate decision.

CC recommended Scott/April for our shower remodel. They came out and did the measurements and talked about options. I liked Scott's ideas -- he is definitely a creative thinker. However, it took a bit to get them to reconnect with me to give me the results of their estimate. I wasn't even sure they wanted the job because of their proximity to me. Once I was able to speak to them, they assured me they would send the esimate and apologized for the delay. By that time I had found another contractor to come out and provide an estimate, who also had good ideas. This one contractor seemed more interested in the job and gave an estimate that was a little lower, except it included the schluter waterproofing system. Scott and April were very helpful and kind, and they later contacted me via email after they hadn't heard back from me in a couple week's time to see if I was still interested in their services so they could plan their own jobs. I explained that I had chosen someone else, but did want to keep their contact info nearby because I had additional bathrooms needing remodeling in the very near future. I did like CC and the contractors they sent out -- I would just recommend them improving on their responsiveness. I would definitely recommend giving them consideration for shower remodeling.

Scott Buff is a very talented person. He has great ideas about remodeling homes. He just has a eye for helping you make the right decisions about what materials to use and the color schemes. He is very trust worthy in what he says he will do and his prices are very competitive. You know old saying "You pay for what you get". The workmanship is beautiful. I can't begin to tell you all the compliments that I have had on all the remodeling that has been done to my house. The first thing people ask me is, who did the work because they did a great job. It makes me feel proud to know I chose such a wonderful company to represent me. I am thinking about getting my greatroom painted. Guess who will do it? Cultured creations.

Overpriced and deceptive, two words summarize my experience with Cultured Creations. 1. About an estimated 200 sq.ft. of kitchen floor area was agreed to be included in the work, but it turned out that only about 110 sq.ft. of floor area was completed, coming out to be more than $13 per sq.ft., way above the national average price of $4.5-$7.5 per sq.ft. (see Housing Flipper Helper's cost estimates). 2. The work was extremely basic and inadequate, no rectified tiles, no wall tiling, no trimming, no sealing, no furnitures to move, and the original floor covering is only vinyl, removal of which is next to a piece of cake. I was even asked to do the follow-up tile gap sealing myself. 3. When confronted with the discrepancy between estimated and actually completed areas, I was eventuallly told (only several days later) that they forgot to tell me that they still have some remaining work hour allowance for me. But I questioned the amount of completed area right at the end of their work, and they didn't say anything then. Clearly they didn't intend to come back to do any more work, otherwise they won't ask me to do the sealing for the gaps between tiles. 4. They brought in an experienced kid who would only work for them for the summer, and fully counted the work hours of that kid as part of the allowed 30 hours of work (Angie's List Big Deal). 5. They were rude and defensive when confronted with the inadequate work area, and even accused me of being hostile and accusational. 6. In fact, prior to the tile work, I had asked them to install two sliding patio doors. They quoted a price that turned out to almost twice that of a Lowe's in-house contractor that I later hired. They were never apologetic about their grossly inflated prices. Very disappointed overall.

Overall the service was great and I would and will recommend Cultured Creation to others.

I did not go with them because I had a recommendation from people I trusted for someone else. The experience was very good.

Overall, everything went very well. The members of the Culture Creations were great. Due to the dust from the removal of the old tile, someone was constantly cleaning, which was great. They consistently friendly, professional and helpful through out the project. Due to the wonderful experience I have had with the Culture Creations members, I will and have recommended Culture Creations to my friends and I have spoken of 2 additional projects with Culture Creations for completion.

They came out to give us an estimate. They were very professional and helpful. We decided to have the floors done in hardwood instead of in tile. They would have been reasonably priced. We felt good about them.

Scott is amazing; I wanted to do something different w/ sea glass that was mine and had some colored 1x1 glass tiles as well. I had a plan for how I was going to use them which he thought was cool on his first visit to give me an estimate but in the end, we ditched that plan all together b/c he thought of such a neat idea, he is very creative and thinks outside the box but wants you to get what YOU want in the end. It turned out amazing and is totally one of kind; on the last day, his fiancee, who is super nice as well, came with him and cleaned not only their mess but left the kitchen literally spotless. Going to do bathroom and hearth now just b/c I know he will do something cool there too. Let me help do the seaglass as well which was awesome.Another note: Tile Center on Two Notch stocks far more stuff than any of the other stores I went to and is priced reasonably. Other stores were at least 4 day lead time, some a week.

It went very well. Very professional, cleaned up after job was done. Will definitely use him again.

Overall I was quite pleased with Scott's work and his professionalism. He did a very neat and clean job with my kitchen backsplash. I feel like he gave me a good price and gave me options while considering my budget. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to others.

Everything went very well. no complaints.

These folks were prompt to respond and their estimating and scheduling practices were excellent. They came on Monday and stuck to the job to completion. The end result exceeds our expectations. There are some areas in the finishing phase I wish I had intervened and asked them to do it differently. I am quite sure they would have corrected the issues to my satisfaction right there on the spot as they are very good listeners and aim to please their customer. Another plus to this company. The final look is superb. Cultured Creations should be very proud of their accomplishment. Thank you Cultured Creations.
