Carpet One Floor & Home

I was impressed with Trevon and his team of installers yesterday, and noticed immediately how well they work together as a team. They were all very efficient, and I noticed that everyone really pulled their own weight and worked hard (which you don’t always see with installation teams). In addition, they were friendly and patient with me as a homeowner going through my first carpet installation experience. I could see Trevon's 20 years of experience working at Carpet One really shining through with the way he manages his team and handles clients. I’m grateful for Robert, too, coming to my house to measure the day after I visited the store, getting me the estimate that afternoon after the measuring, and keeping things moving. He sensed that I was ready to move on this project and simplified practical choices for me and my needs (budget, time frame, cat owner, etc.), which helped a lot. He was always sensitive to the price point I needed, and I never felt he was trying to talk me into spending more money than makes sense for my house’s value. I really appreciated the feeling of simplification, because projects like this can be overwhelming to me as a homeowner sometimes. Robert really understood what I needed. I also appreciate that everyone was respectful of my time, and Robert and Trevon and his team showed up exactly when they said they would show up at my house. Those kinds of things mean a lot to customers.

My family met with Matt Hall of Carpet One at the store on 200 Candi Lane in Columbia. Matt walked us through the options available for hardwood floors. Our family decided on a pine laminate for our three bedrooms and main hallway. A delivery date and installation date were set. Matt Hall ensured that the flooring was delivered to the house during a time that was convenient to our family and allowed time for it to sit and adjust to our homes temperature. On the day of installation, all work was completed in a timely manner and the home was cleaned to the pre work state. Matt Hall worked extra hard to ensure that the flooring was installed without incident. Matt Hall ensured that even though I was not in the area during installation I was kept informed of any changes in delivery date or set up. We are scheduling the installation of our two main living areas in the future and will schedule all our work through Matt Hall at Carpet One.

Arrived early because I had let them know I only had a short window of time that I was available for installation. They were quick, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. They were careful to put things back the way they had been before they put down the carpet.

I worked with Judy who was great !!! She came out to do the measuring and brought several samples. It was more than I wanted to spend, so I decided to go look at other wood. Judy knew how much I loved the hickory, so she got the installer to come out and measure again. (My room is octagon shaped and very hard to measure. ) Brad (the installer) (also great) was able to get the estimate down a bit so I got my hickory. Brad did a wonderful job with installation. Judy came by one evening after work to see the finished p;roduct. She thinks it is as beautiful as I do. I was very impressed with Carpet One and would use them again.

They did a beautiful job. We are especially impressed with the matching job they did installing around a center fireplace. As the weather changed, the floor buckled somewhat. We called them back twice and they came out quickly and did a fact efficient job. We are very pleased with the result. The floor is beautiful!
