 + -1 moreMr. Lane did a great job! He installed the Google doorbell and NestCam w/Floodlight for my aging parent. He checked in early since he was on our side of town so the job was completed early. He is kind and knowledgeable and offers a fair price. We are keeping his contact info for future jobs. Thanks Mr. Lane!
Description of Work: Installed wired Google doorbell and wired NestCam with floodlights. He was more affordable than what was offered during the purchase through the Google Store. Turns out my older doorbell needed a transformer. He also offered to do that and pick up the transformer. Everything is working great.

Description of Work: Hard wired Ethernet connection to 2 - 4 UD televisions, installed Ubiquity wireless extender on screen porch. Diagnosed recurring connectivity problems throughout our home with our high speed internet! Made recommendations and update mad existing alarm system, installed new equipment, provided training and installed apps to our mobile devices. |Recommended and installed Sonos sound system to screen porch trained and downloaded apps to mobile devices for operation. |Returned days later to reevaluate and correct a problem - ultimately found to be a time warner equipment failure! |Easiest bunch of nerds to deal with ever.....so glad to have them programmed in to my phone!

Description of Work: Carolina Wiring Services replaced the alarm system in my home, which was over 20 years old and out of monitoring contract. They replaced the main control panel, 2 keypads, and added additional sensors. They tested everything and made sure it works, and showed us how to use the new system. | |My old system had problems - some sensors did not work, monitoring couldn't happen over my new UVerse phone line, monitoring contract ended. So I decided to shop around before replacing and renewing alarm system. I secured several quotes and based on Angie's List recommendations and BBB history and price, chose CWS. No hard sales tactics, easy to understand proposal and contract, and very competitive monthly monitoring fee led to my decision. Robert and Juan were the installers and did a very nice job of installing and cleaning up/returning everything to normal.

 + -1 moreWe pay them quarterly. They are nice gentlemen. We like individually owned business and not franchises. They came out spent time, explained and spoke to us. Another company wanted to sign us up over the phone without any interaction. They just wanted a sing and once they knew we wouldn't do that; they were not interested. They just wanted a quick sale. Our overall experience with them has been good.
Description of Work: We used Carolina Wiring Service for installing an alarm.
