From the plasterboard repair man (Jason) to the painter (Lewis), all the work is Expert!!!! The wall looks fantastic.

I hired Brownstone to install/replace an exterior door on the back of a rental property I own. They responded quickly with an estimate of the work. They scheduled the job and completed it much faster than the other contractors I got estimates from projected they could do.

We hired this company to have exterior French Doors installed, some electrical work, and some drywall work. Electrical work and drywall work was very good, the French doors installation - was not great. The “rough opening” was an inch too wide and an inch too wide. Sure, the door is in the opening, and will not fall out...but the door was on the deck (not 10 feet away), so the had no excuse to miss measure.

Could have been more prompt and would have been nice to advised the were running late before I had to make the call. All and all happy with the work.

I was having a VA appraisal done and needed a ceiling repair done in my kitchen on short notice. The Brownstone guys showed up the same day I called them but I feel like they gouged me on the work that was done. They replaced a piece of drywall and mudded it in the kitchen and a piece in my laundry room. They didnt even have to redo the popcorn ceiling. They charged me $875 for the job. To make things worse, they didnt even clean everything up when they got done. It took me about an hour to clean up my refrigerator, dryer, floors and table of all the stuff that had fallen while they were working. They even left a mess on my front porch where they cut the drywall. The repair looks good for what they did do and they did come on short notice, however I cannot recommend anyone who cannot even clean up after themselves. Update: â The owner of Brownstone gave me a refund of $350 from my bill a week later and asked me to revise my review. He did tell me that he hired a quality assurance person to go to every job and make sure everything was done correctly from here on out. â I thought that was his job.

Called in the morning and work done perfectly by early afternoon. Second time we have used this company - would highly recommend them and use them again.

Overall a great job. Only negative is the work site area could have been left a bit cleaner. But, not a reason to not use them again.

I had a particularly problematic issue with drywall repair on my ceiling, but it was dealt with quickly and expertly. The result is highly satisfactory.

I hired them last year to replace some siding that had been blown down during a storm. It was not secured properly on the angled portion under the eaves and it blew back down this week. I can see where they used some really short staples to try to secure the angled part under the eaves but this was not even remotely sufficient. Now I am having to find a new contractor and get this done again with the same pieces of siding just a year later. I am not happy with the job that they did.
