Brian was fantastic to work with. I called about six handymen before I found him. Most were backed up six or more weeks before they would even talk to me, some never returned my phone calls, and several, even though they were listed under "handymen" and home repair under Angie's list, said my job was much too small for them. Anyway, Brian was very professional over the phone, and showed up - early - to take a look at the project to present me an estimate. He gave us a very professional and fair written estimate of the project. He was able to begin work within a week of our acceptance of his proposal. He very efficiently completed our project. Every day telling us the time he would return and what he planned to do as the next step. He was always here as promised, exactly on time. He completed all the projects in less than a week, coming back as promised to do additional coats of paint. The finished product is exceptional. The bookcases are perfect and match existing bookcases already in the room as we requested. The exterior looks fantastic. We couldn't be happier. We will definitely use him again for any project we have at the house and highly recommend him due to his professionalism and quality work.

Before, the gate was difficult to open and close. It was an ordinary,wood slat gate that showed all of the weather over 12yrs . The new gate is now an addition and an attractive entrance to the back yard. It is a quality ,sturdy gate The porch roof is a waterproofed material.Now after 16yrs it had leaks. Brian filled each little nail hole and not one raindrop fell inside the porch during the storms. Professional experience is obvious in all details of Brian's projects. Brian and his crew are always prompt, polite. to finish a project quickly. Bravo Services removed all debris from the project. I hope he will be available for the future tile project. His calendar is full, of course; I'll wait.He is the goto professional for all of my home projects.

Brian and his helper showed up on time ready to work on a non-standard task. Got the work completed in a single day as he expected and ended up having to go in a different direction of the work once he got started and found some issues. He had already discussed with us about this second solution so was not unexpected entirely. Stayed with originally quoted price although I do believe it ended up being more difficult and longer of a job then he originally expected. Thanks.

Brian worked with my budget to complete the work I asked for. He was on time for all 3 days of work. He was very professional and friendly. He explained all the details and steps involved with completing the project as he went along each day. He cleaned up every day. I have asked him to come back to do more work for me on home improvements. I would recommend him highly!

Bravo Services was highly responsive to our need to have grab bars in two baths and a decorative railing installed on a side porch during a recent family illness. The owner, Brian Barb, did the work himself. His work was outstanding and we are pleased with the results. I would first like to state that before selecting Brian/Bravo Services, I researched all providers of these type of services on Angie's List. Brian/Bravo Services had the most "A" ratings coupled with great reviews, so I decided to choose this company. Just like the previous customers who provided reviews, my experience was the same...delightful and I was very pleased with the work. In scheduling the services, I was able to email back and forth with Brian regarding what I needed done. On the scheduled date, he arrived ahead of schedule and was ready to get to work. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and did not rush on any individual project. It was very obvious that, while he worked quickly, it was because he knew what he was doing. The projects that I needed done may appear small and simple, however, I could not perform them myself and just needed someone with the right skills. He treated my home just like it was his home by making sure that everything installed was level and hung at the recommended heights for homeowner use. The work done looks fantastic and was done right...which is important to any homeowner. I am very, very pleased and pointed out some other things to Brian that I will call him back to handle for me. I have also passed his name and number along to 2 other homeowners since last week!

Had a leak in the roof, he just put the mud on, no tape, so it isn't holding up, and quick as it dried it cracked again (the leak had been fixed prior to him coming out the first time). I did have to reschedule to get the work re-done, because I was hospitalized for a blood clot in my lung, and then my Dad died. He came back out again today to re-do it, but he's upset I canceled, and refuses to come out and do more work. He also changed out two electrical switches from dimmer switches to normal flip switches, and did a good job on that

He replaced a door knob; installed additional outside lighting; replaced electrical fixtures; hung additional shelves in several closets, etc. He worked fast and thoroughly and finished much more than I would have expected. I was very satisfied and would certainly use him again.

Read all the reviews and decided he was the one for the job! I am a satisfied customer and I will be using him again for some more Handy Projects around my home. Brain did a professional and excellent job. Gave me some tips on other projects that I needed done, courteous and patient at all times, his helper was also kind and respectful to my home.

It was okay, nothing exceptional. He did what he could get done on my list for the amount of hours I had purchased from Angie's list. He was professional.

Originally I just wanted the kitchen sink faucet leak fixed. Brian assessed the 16-year-old faucet and told me that fixing the valve would be just as expensive as getting a new faucet. On that first visit he also fixed the bathroom cabinetry drawer which was falling apart. On the second visit, Brian replaced both kitchen and bathroom sink faucets. He worked quickly and carefully cleaned up any messes. He was also punctual - more than punctual. Each visit he was early! I liked the fact he wore his company shirt with his name, so I could recognize who was coming to my house.I highly recommend Brian Barb and Bravo Services, and will be using the company again in the future.

I had ordered the struts online and when he got there he said they were not the correct ones and we had to reschedule. Then he looked online and said he could install them after all. So he came the next time and installed them but they were not the right size and the attic door was going to be handing open about 8" on both sides until I could get the correct struts. He was ready to leave the door hanging open. I insisted that he reinstall the old struts so that the door was like it was before, which I could live with for a few weeks- not having the whole door hanging down 8". He could not get the old struts back on, so he had to nail the door shut. Not his fault that I had the wrong parts, but we could have gotten to the same place the first time he came over if he had tried to install them that time. Plus, I was appalled that he was even considering leaving with the door hanging down that far. Also, he helped himself to the bathroom and left the seat up. I ended up getting a new attic door and having someone else install it.

We had 3 quotes done, all by Angie's List 'A' sources to install some crown molding I had purchased. Mr. Brian Barb had the best solution to our problem of how to creatively join some legacy old-style 5-inch flat molding to installing some new modern 3-inch designer molding (60 ft). He also did some caulking. I didn't ask him to paint any of it, as I will be doing that myself in a few months down the road. He also seemed to be the most confident, personable, yet professional. He truly knows carpentry and many, many other areas of home improvement and remodeling. We will be using him for several other projects coming up in our home over the next few years as we continue to upgrade the home interior and a few exterior areas. As a matter of fact, we've already scheduled him to come back and remove a doorway and replace a threshold. I feel he is trustworthy. My wife and I often worry about types of people initially working in our home and we both feel fortunate that we have found Mr. Barb. We look forward to him working on our future projects to improve our home.

Brian was professional, courteous, and prompt. Above all, his work is excellent. My condo looks brand new! I couldn't be more pleased. Brian went above and beyond by giving excellent advice on purchases that would best suit my needs and my budget. He did the measurements for my window shutters and bathroom vanity and helped me place the orders. He also gave excellent referrals for appliance repair, etc. I highly recommend Brian, and I definitely will call on him again whenever the need arises.

This was the third time we've had Brian come to our house!! He has performed a variety of handyman projects each time, and provided exceptional work. He is punctual, efficient, professional, friendly, and thorough. He goes above and beyond to ensure the job is done to perfection. He is also timely with returning emails and giving quotes for services requested. We highly recommend Brian for any/all professional home improvements needs! Our only reservation in doing so is that he may get too busy to be there for the next time we need him! :)

We were extremely pleased with Brian and his services. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave us great ideas on making our house look even better for resale purpose. We actually started and completed the work on the actually day agreed upon and Brian was always early to the job. His level of professionalism, knowledge, and caring, far exceeded that of other " contractors" that are around this area. He was always available to us if we had questions, even if it was after 5 pm. Last minute, we added on some other projects to be completed, and he had no problem completing them for us in a timely manner and for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Bravo Services to anyone who wants a trustworthy professional working on your home. My husband and I are so happy that we have finally found someone we can trust, that is knowledgeable, and dependable to work on our current house and our rental properties.
