They provided good service. It took them a long time to find my apartment. Since I had to wait, they gave me a discount. It went fine once they got here. They responded to my call right away.

price is higher than others, but work is good and they sell brand name products

They responded to my call within a day and sent out a technician. He offered me two options, a quick repair or replacement. He called in got the prices for each option, and said he could have either option done the next day. I chose replacement. In the meantime he patched the seals as best he could to improve our air circulation until he replaced the duct housing the following day. The next day he was there early, and finished the repairs quickly and efficiently. Everyone I dealt with was very courteous and professional. I would recommend Blythewood Heating and Air to anyone in the Columbia SC area.

Very good, very fast, OK install job. Would have changed a few items on the install, but I can be picky at times. I had to repair a leaky condensate drain joint coming out of the blower unit. No damage, they should use pipe dope sealant instead of teflon thread tape. Very clean job. They left the place neat and tidy.

Overall the service was fine; however, the issue was just from limited experience. The two men were about 45 minutes late, which was the office's fault and not the fault of the service men. The office called me at the time I asked for them to arrive to double check if we still wanted the service and that she was sending them our way at the time I asked them to be scheduled to be there. I scheduled them early anticipating this may happen, so it was not a problem for us, but just take note of that. The two young men inspected our jmain unit and did an excellent job. They also inspected a smaller unit but no experience with it and were not sure how to operate it. They did however keep at it until they figured out that the smaller unit was completely broken and needed to be repaired or replaced. What concerned me is that the main inspector who was there from another company said the smaller unit was a standard model for that type, so perhaps these fellows just need a little more experience. The men were thorough in their report for us for closing and even helped us out with suggesting things that the other party should pay for that are very outdated. Overall we were happy with the inspection other than them just needing some more experience with less standard units. Due to the price I have seen in other reviews, I will not be using Blythewood for heating and air service since there are less expensive but still good quality services in the area.

The cost was for 2 visits a year including materials and labor, so it was a little bit higher than most companies. The visits also include a gallon of freon for each unit, for us it worked well. Some people would say the price was high, but I thought it was reasonable. I did look around and it was higher than others, but people have to realize it does include the freon. He was here for at least two hours and he was very thorough.

Fine. What I expected. No real suprises.

I spent $230 on that work and they were fantastic. They responded quickly, gave me thorough details about what needed to be done and what did not need to be done. They also said that they were going to come back out and check it again without any extra charge, which they did. I highly recommend them. They did a thorough examination, vacuumed out the unit and checked for leaks. I called them and they called me right back and it was within a few minutes that the repair man called me back and said he was on his way.

We were not having any problems with the old system, but as it was pretty old (28 yrs and 12 yrs) we decided to take advantage of the federal tax rebate. The sales rep, Charles, came on time, checked out our system, made recommendations, and wrote up a proposal. He was polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. On the day of installation, Dustin and Rory arrived and went to work. They were quiet and respectful. They worked hard all day until the job and cleanup were finished. We were very impressed by them. The next morning, Mike, the service manager, came and checked over the job, did some technical things (?), explained the whole system, showed us how to use the thermostat, and made sure everything was as perfect as it could be. He spent about 3 hours here. This company delivered the best service we have ever had from anyone we have hired. We have already recommended them to neighbors.

Job was completed on time. Cleaned after self. I was well pleased with work & type of people that came out.

Excellent communication skills from beginning to end. Very knowledgable and caring for quality of work. it was the only AC contractor that took the time to do a load calculation as recommended by all AC professional organizations. We contacted over 5 other local companies and no one took the time to do this despite our requests. Prompt service, employees very nice people respectfull and polite. Quality of work appears to be excellent, We were very satisfied.

The job was great, from start to finish. All of the employees were great and did their job even when their supervisor was not there. They finished the job and cleaned up their work area very good.

Blythewood Heating AC and Refrigeration have done some smaller installation and service jobs for me in the past. This was a much larger job than previous jobs have been. They showed up at the time I was given. They replace and installed the new equipment and hauled away the old unit. I could not ask for a better job. They cleaned up after themselves not leaving my house or yard a mess. I would, will and have already recommended Blythewood Heating AC and Refrigeration to my family and friends.

I was very pleased with the professional people that were involved with this project. From the sales cycle to the clean-up under the house, the people were courteous & professional. There was no debris remaing when they left the project, in fact it look better than when they arrived. Employees like these gives a company an unfair advantage over their competition. My wife & I are very pleased with the new filtration system & it seems to be doing just as advertised. GOOD JOB!!
