Description of Work: They came in and looked thru the home for signs of mold. They found some under the home and they rectified the situation. The thing thats bothered me the most is when I first contacted them I was told not to worry that they would find the smell and fix it. Well $6000 later the smell is still here. Was told all mold was gone however a few months ago mold was found under my cabinets in my kitchen and in our son's bathroom. I feel let down...and now I am wondering what else is causing this smell and I have to start all over with a different company. I asked in the beginning "what if its not mold Im smelling, what else can be done?" Was told no matter what it is they will find it and take care of it. Staff is very friendly and always on time or early.

Description of Work: indoor air quality testing. My indoor air tested 99% high abnormality on one mold related to plant or other building material. I have since installed an air knight purifier and looking into further work to rid the house and crawlspace of mold

Description of Work: Removed and replaced insulation, remediated mold on crawlspace surfaces, applied Biostat antimicrobial to the remediated surfaces to inhibit fungal regrowth and repaired vapor barrier to cover 100% of the ground surface under my house. | Ancel and team were great!! Hands down, provided the most thorough and professional presentation. Took time to make sure I understood everything that was needed and when and how it would be handled. I feel it was a fair price for the work that was done. I highly recommend Biotek Environmental Inc.

Description of Work: Biotek checked the house for mold and did an air quality test. They confirmed the concern of an elevated level inside the home with the air quality tests. It was an education. They are quite busy. Even an HVAC company recommends the company for air quality. The reps have been available even after the initial contact for advice.

Description of Work: Biotek was very pleasant and very professional. They provided assistance during the insurance assessement. Unfortunately, their estimate was about 10 times more than everyone else and the quote did not include assisting in putting everything back once the job was completed. The other two places I received quotes were much more detailed: provided diagrams along with the dimensions, itemized quite extensively, included timed estimates for each stage of the process, etc.

Description of Work: test for mold. They did a good job. the company sent the air for quality test to a company in NC. The results seem to suggest that we should clean our home right away. But according to NIH , there is no accepted standard for acceptable levels of mold. So, testing for this and cleaning it is a big scam. Don't get it done. If you want to anyway, nothing wrong using this company for no reason.

Description of Work: We had a mold problem under our house caused by a leak that soaked a 15x15 area of insulation. BioTek came out and remedied the entire problem. They put a dehumidifier under our house to dry it out, removed the mold, treated the area, and replaced the insulation. They did an outstanding job. I would recommend them to anyone with a mold issue.

Description of Work: Due to on going medical problems this review has not been as timely as it might have been. Cleaned and treated a major MOLD problem in the crawl space. The job was difficult, time consuming required cooperation and coordination with other contractors. The company set the bar high on quality and made an effort to address and correct any concerns I expressed along the way. The technicians did there work in a very professional manner displaying a high degree of knowledge. Some major issues developed during the project, resulting in Biotek having to reimburse me for damages. They accepted responsibility for the problem and resolved it with out any hesitation! Great Company!
