+ -1 moreThey called me a month and half ago saying that I was 4.8 tons over and that I would be charged an additional $465.00. I personally filled up the dumpster so I know that it wasn’t over filled. My dispute was with whoever weighed the box and not Big Red Box. I’ve done this before, so I asked them to double check, but they refused. I’ve been trying to resolve the issue with finally paying the additional charge. They kept giving me a run around and would not speak with me, until I got contacted from a collection agency. I finally paid the credit company. I tried to contact Big Red Box back and the owner said that they have nothing else to say to me and refused to actually give me the weighting company’s name. They just hung up on me.
Description of Work: Ordered dumbster for a construction job.

+ -1 moreI got an absolute full refund on the price because they had not performed to my satisfaction. They tried to blame me for the whole experience. The price was fair, though.

+ -1 moreCOMPLETE DELIVERY, COMMUNICATION & SERVICE FAILURE!
Description of Work: This was the hauler subcontracted by bookadumpster.com to supply me a 40yard roll off container. I ordered online on the 19th for a delivery on the 22nd. The website claims all orders can be processed in 24 hours. Within 15 minutes of ordering the hauler calls me to tell me they don't have a 40 yard container available, only a 30 yard. "we forgot to update the website stock". When I knew from booking there would be a price difference, I asked if I would be getting some money back. " well since we don't have what you ordered I'll give you a $300 extra weight allowance for the container. I already had warning bells going off in my head when I agreed. Friday the 22nd, day of delivery, they never show. I start calling at 3pm. "well he should be there within the hour". Nothing. Second call at 4:30. " well he's probably just running late, he will Be there at least by 6". Nobody shows. From then on no one answers the phone except some guy who has nothing to do with the business, claims " I just answer the phones for booking after hours, but if you don't have it by now, it's not coming and they're closed til Monday". And refuses to give me any type of contact info. I start sending emails with the online address. At 10:50 pm I receive a single, one line email "what address is it supposed to go to?" At this point I'm pretty sure I have been ripped off. I check the original website and they claim a 100% money back if the hauler fails to deliver. They email back immediately to say they will check with the hauler and then let me know.. On Monday the 25th Chris, at Big Red Box sends me an email saying "we need 24 hours notice to process your request, since you didn't book until 6:07 on the 22nd we couldn't get you a container after hours. We will need to set another day for delivery" . I WAS LIVID!! I replied back to him AND the bookadumpster website with a copy of my original receipt from the 19th and a reminder of how he had even called me and changed what he was committing to anyway.. Bookadumpster issued a full refund that posted to my account 3 days later with a full appologie, but the most I ever got back from Chris at Big Red Box was "you'll get a refund". No appologie, no explaination, no other contact of any kind. These people should not be trusted for any reason whatsoever!
