I went to ASP.com (corporate channel) on 8/7/2024 to place in writing a request for pool light and pool heater services. Jimmy, the owner, called back within a few hours. He said he would have a technician come the following Tuesday but would need a $250 deposit for the pool heater diagnostic. We discussed replacing the pool light, and he said it would be easy if it were only a bulb replacement. I faithfully paid by that Saturday. However, it was all downhill from there. Despite the promised visit from a technician on Tuesday, no one showed up. Since I had already paid, I felt compelled to try again. I went back to ASP.com (corporate channel) and wrote my second request for pool light service this past Wednesday evening, letting them know we had a pool party on Saturday. The technician came yesterday only to diagnose a heat pump issue. He did not replace the light. I received an invoice for $150.00 for the diagnostic, for which I had already paid $250.00. So, I just got off the phone with Jimmy. He said he only put on the schedule to look at the diagnostic. I responded that we needed that pool light replaced. He informed me that he was having trouble getting lights, and they had other customers who needed lights. Remember, he just told me last week that it would not be a problem if it were only changing a light bulb. And, he never looked at the light, so he has no way of knowing whether it was a bulb or some other issue. The most troubling part of this experience is the discrepancy in the invoice. It clearly states $150.00, but I was charged $250.00. When I questioned Jimmy about this, he simply dismissed it as an error on the invoice. I am deeply disappointed with Jimmy's customer service and his lack of transparency. Throughout our conversation, he seemed unsure and evasive, which did not come across as genuine. He should have informed me about the potential bulb issue a week ago and should have reimbursed me $100, as the invoice clearly shows an overcharge. I would go elsewhere for your pool service needs if I were you. I will not be taking any more chances on them.

Poor Workmanship / Poor customer service 1 "Liner: Does not fit to pool deck corner. - Poor workmanship, the liner should have been stretched to fit the pool or the liner was cut using the wrong dimensions" 2 "Cement: Cracks in cement slab. - Poor workmanship, numerous cracks in the cement slab" 3 Cement: Poor workmanship at cement slab on poolside. 4 "Pool Light: Covered by workers. Light seen by Technician. Electric cord left. At time of initial pool inspection, Owner could not see the light. Michael added a New Light Clause to contract but agreed to use the original light. - Pool had a light, the light was covered but the electrical connection was left. " 5 "Polaris Pump: Pump removed & never returned. Pipe for Polaris installed. Pump needs to be connected to electrical outlet. - the pump was removed but the pipes left " 6 Handrail: At time of contract signing, Owner committed to installing handrail. 7 "Used equipment - No Documentation: Inline chlorinator, Filter, pump & liner documentation & warranty cards needed. - No warranty provided, no proof that equipment is new. " 8 Bubbler: Needed for end of pool & Polaris outlet. Wonder why grey bubbler installed? 9 Sprinkler: In ground sprinklers around pool removed. 10 "Liner: pool not sealed. On Sept 3, the pool tech left water running over night. The water 'bubbled' under the liner in Deck corner - worried about liner floating. Water leaked under the concert slabs. - Poor workmen ship, water flows under the cement slab, potential destabilizing the foundation or the pool. " 11 "Incorrect electrical breaker installed. One Pole Circuit Breaker installed. Recommendation from Pentair authorized dealer that a 2 Pole GFCI Circuit Breaker should be used. Is this the cause of Pump read out : ERR 0021? "

I don't like giving negative feedback, but I have been waiting on a quote for a pool renovation for more than a month and have had to contact them over and over. Meanwhile I have received two other quotes from other companies and will go with one of those companies.

As always, Mike and his team provide excellent service! He has always gone above and beyond for his customers. We've used them since last summer and have never had a complaint. Would definitely recommend!
