This is the company that Nationwide Insurance sent out after an air conditioning malfunction caused water damage to four areas in house (hallway, living room, bedroom, bathroom). They brought in a dehumidifier and fans for four days to dry the affected areas and then sent over a subcontractor--Davis Painting and Wallcovering--to do the repair work. The subcontractor replaced a 6' x 2' portion of the living room ceiling, re-popcorned part of the ceiling in living room, repainted the ceiling in the living room, bedroom, and master bathroom, and were supposed to have replaced the damages insulation in the attic. The day after they "finished," I noticed discoloration and cracks in the ceilings in two of the rooms. Also, I discovered that they did not replace the insulaton in the attic as they had claimed to have done. They sent the same subcontractor back to fix these problems. This time, they tore a 5" strip of paint off the wall in the bathroom, and two, 2" holes have appeared in the ceiling in the bathroom that had been re-popcorned and painted. Also, the discoloration in the bedroom ceiling is still present. On top of this shoddy work, the subcontractors did the following: on the first day, they clogged a bathroom sink with ceiling popcorn (not the bathroom they were working on); got paint all over a shower curtain and left a dirty handprint on the wall next to it, which will now have to be repainted (again, not the bathroom they were working on); repeatedly left urine stains all over the toilet seat; got paint on the wicker seat of a chair in the master bedroom; got paint on the front door and storm door; got paint on the outside hose nozzles; left the hoses running every day that they were there; and threw the remains of their lunch (chicken bones) in our front yard. Quite frankly, I doubt that $3500 worth of work is done, and I wouldn't be surprised if the insurance adjuster got a kickback from these guys. I won't be recommending either of these contractors to anyone, will be switching insurance companies, and will never use a company recommended by an insurance company again.
