Air Necessities was very prompt with their service, was able to fix our AC problem and I will not hesitate to call on them again.

Air necessities staff was prompt, diagnosed problem and communicated with me by phone. Units replaced quickly (one within 24 hours) and efficiently. ?We have utilized this company for years and have maintenance contracts that they monitor and coordinate with our tenants. We also have them service our home.

This has been a really good experience! Air Necessities worked me into their schedule quickly, were super efficient with installing the system, and the guys who came out to do the work were friendly, informed, and courteous. They took away my old unit and cleaned up after their work really well. They also didn't try to sell me or recommend a lot of potentially unnecessary work/equipment. If their follow-up (I signed up for the 2x a year maintenance) is as good as the initial service, I will be very happy indeed.

They were very good. They showed up on time, was very nice to everybody here and we didn’t any service extra. That was nice that we had somebody who didn’t try to sell extras.

I realized that since we moved into our new home 5 years ago, we had never had our home generator serviced. My husband is disabled and partially blind so it is imperative that we have our lights working at all times. I contacted Air Necessities about noon on the 9th, explained the situation, and they said they would be here in about 45 minutes and it would take about an hour to do the service. They told me they do this work often and have the kits on hand to do the job. They also told me the price so I would not be surprised. They arrived when they said they would and got the work done within the hour. We were very pleased with their professionalism, their promptness, and their efficiency. We will have them do our yearly maintenance from now on.

The technician arrived on time, evaluated my problem with uneven air distribution and suggested that I try a very inexpensive and low tech solution to my problem before having them get involved in a major project. I felt that he just wanted to help me solve my problem in as simple a manner as possible. He could have told me that the ceiling needed to be torn up and the ducts done over and I would have said OK. Turns out his simple solution worked and saved me what likely would have been thousands of dollars. I really respect honesty and integrity. When I do need a new HVAC system there is no doubt that this company will be who I call.

They were very professional and punctual. They have great customer service. Anytime you call them, they respond quickly. They are very nice and friendly, and they have excellent customer care.

Reach your own conclusions: In the depth of cold weather my heating system failed. Air Necessities made an initial call for $85. They diagnosed the failure as a bad air handler and asked for $1800. to repair. Three days later the parts arrived and the technician got the system working in about 30 minutes. Susequently, I discovered that the parts were available, at retail prices for about $600. Total cost for the service $1785. I am angry that I did not get a second bid and allowed this degree of exploitation.

I was pleased with this company, their responsiveness, and their price. The technician was polite, professional, and did a good job repairing the problem. Minor fix, but major difference! Thank you!

I am a new customer as Air Necessities bought North Valley Heating and Air which I had always used. The owner came out when his company purchased my old one to answer questions. I was impressed with his knowledge--he was qualified himself to work on the units. He was very patient and thorough answering questions and his service tech was great as well.

Mr. Morrison is licensed, insured, and acquired the necessary permit to have the work done in Forest Acres. An inspection by the code enforcement official assured us that the work was well done. Air Necessities also did the paperwork for us to receive a rebate of $150.00 from SCE&G. We are pleased with their work and have decided to use them for our twice a year heat and air maintenance. During our first maintenance visit, they installed a much needed condensate pump for the air handler ($445.00 for the condensate pump; $170.00 a year plus filters for the maintenance agreement.)

They were rated highly on Angie's List. They offered a coupon for $50 off on repair work.

I would give them the highest rating. The price could be always better from the perspective of a consumer, so I would rate it as good. The quality of work, responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism are excellent.

We are satisfied with their service compared to others they asked a reasonable price. They came promptly and the employees were nice. They have good service and they follow up. Everything was good.

I had a list of items like heater was not working and that was the main cause they came and fixed. During the process of fixing, they also adjusted new thermostat. I took a yearly contract from them. It is good company and they do nice quality work.

It was a very pleasant experience. They replaced the part in less than 2 hours.

The company representative I initially dealt with was Clay. While both knowledgeable and likeable, he turned out to be very unreliable (did not follow through, return phone call, etc.) Then one day he just up and quits! However, the owners rose to the occasion and were exceptionally accommodating and profession. They have even honored commitments made to me by the unreliable Clay.William and Jonna have been great to work with. They have kept in touch and have made sure that all the work has been done to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend anyone needing HVAC work to use Air Necessities! I love my new unit and the lower heating/cooling bills I am receiving. Don't put this off as the expense is worth it. I don't think I could have found a better deal than I did with Air Necessities(and believe me, I shopped around). Thank you William, Jonna and staff for everything!

A little after lunch on Saturday I went upstairs to put the kids down for their nap, and found water dripping from the ceiling in their bathroom. It hadn't rained in a while so I didn't think it was a roof leak and thought maybe a plumbing pipe had broken. So, I called a friend that is a plumber and asked what he thought and he immediately said that he thought the problem was with the AC that it was probably leaking. I then called the company who installed the unit when the house was built 18 months ago. They said they couldn't get out till monday, so I went through the phone book till I found someone who could get out in a few hours not a few days! I called North Valley Services and Tina answered the phone and told me that the on-call guy actually lived just across the dam from us and that he should be able to come out very shortly. About 10 minutes later Rob called us and said he was on his way and would see us in about 30 minutes. Rob got to our house in about 20 minutes, and was very professional. He took me up in my attic and showed me that were the drain pipe goes into my AC had never been glued correctly and had dripped into another pan that was supposed to catch water in an emergency and cut the system off but it to was not properly installed and was leaking onto my ceiling instead of shutting off. With just some glue and a shop-vac Rob fixed the pipe and cleaned up the mess. About an hour after getting there Rob was finished and we were very pleased with service we had received. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for fast and professional service.

My house started warming up at 6 pm Thursday evening before Labor Day weekend (temp was in the mid-90s!). I called my usual service company and got their answering machine. I called the guy who had added a zone to the system during a remodeling job, and he said he would come out the next morning. I began to panic, because I cannot sleep in a hot house. Then I started looking in the phone book and saw that many companies have 24/7 call. I then went to Angie's List to verify customer experiences. Air Necessities only had 8 reports but they were all so good that I called them. They ANSWERED the phone and said they could check it and maybe even fix it THAT NIGHT. The fee was a little higher for after hours, but I had a $40 coupon with Angie's List sitting there, so I was thrilled. Dave Lindsey was on call that night and drove 30 minutes to my house. He determined that the blower needed to be replaced. He left and got a motor from their place of business and returned with the motor and had it up and running by 11 pm. Unfortunately, the complex zoning regions in my house made it difficult to determine if the motor fan was blowing in the correct direction. Thirty minutes after Dave left, I called him (had his number from when he called me from under my house) to tell him I thought I had messed up in saying the blower was blowing well and could he come back the next morning to verify. It just wasn't putting out enough air in the bedroom zone. (With Labor Day weekend looming, I was really nervous about having AC because it was forecast to be hot.) I was right about the fan direction, so we ended up cooling under the house all night (resulting in a good bit of icing). I didn't sleep too well, because the house didn't cool off much (should have gone under the house to sleep). But early the next morning Dave called to say he was on his way. He affirmed my suspicions, got the ice melted and reversed the motor flow. And now all is well. The peace of mind in knowing that a company like this is out there ready to help at any time is well worth the maintenance agreement that I also purchased. It turns out that my neighbors have been with this company for over 10 years. I suppose I've seen their trucks over there but didn't process the name. GREAT COMPANY. Very nice people.
