Modern Turf

I'm under contract with them. My experience with them was a definite A. I would absolutely consider using them in the future.

Don't waste your time or hard earned money! Modern Turf allowed fungus to damage our yard, leaves on trees, leaves on plants, and decorative rock?s! I told the technician on numerous occasions that something was wrong with our yard. He said it was fungus and that he would tell somebody at the main office, but nothing was done. Another technician came to my home and said that he would fix the problem, but once again, nothing was done. The fungus got worse and moved to other areas of my yard. This problem could have been prevented if Modern Turf would have aggressively treated the fungus from the onset instead of downplaying it. Two employees came to my home today and gave me a bunch of B/S, excuses, and reasons why they can?t assist me. One of them lied and said that he initially talked to my wife about the problem, among other things. Also said I cancelled the service last year and that is totally not true because they kept coming to my home. Take your business to a reputable company (there are others in Columbia) who will do what they say they will do and also adhere to customer satisfaction and producing a quality product, instead of giving excuses. There is more to tell but I do not have enough space to put all the words. VETERANS BEWARE!

Gave them address. They never gave me a quote. If I had to guess why, I have a super-small yard, maybe they didn't think it was worth their time. But they could have called & said so.

I was looking at sodding my back lawn again for the 3rd time as each year the lawn died after the winter. I called out Modern Turf and they suggested a grass for my yard, and I signed up for their weed and feed maintenance. The grass not only lived but flourished and everyone comments on my beautiful grass. If I have a question, Matt always promptly calls me back. They do regular soil tests on my lawn and review the results. They never try and sell me something I do not need. The cost for weed and feed per year is about $360.00. I also have them aerate the lawn.

The workers were great and everything worked out great. They did a great job and they did it very fast. I would recommend them to a friend. I am very happy with them.
