I am totally pleased with the work they have done on the yard. They mowed it, trimmed it, raked it, cleaned out the flower beds, trimmed all the bushes and trees, got rid of the leaves that had piled up over a 2 year period. Pulled out all the dead bushes and plants. We made a decision to have a tree removed because it was going to cause problems to our side walk. We have also hired them to install a fence in our backyard. That will be done on February 21st.
Description of Work: Cleaned up the yard of the home we just purchased. It was neglected for over 2 years but has some great bones to it. They have spent an entire day grooming every inch of our yard. They did say this would be a two day process to get it ready for the weekly service we signed up for.

Eric will be performing all the services that we needed now and can perform services that we need in the future. He works with one team and from past experience, smaller seems to work better for lawn service. We are very pleased with the services that we have utilized from Angie's List. Since we have just started service, there is not much that I can add at this time.
Description of Work: We called almost everyone on Angie's List for lawn service. Four came out on time (out of 9 called) and all were professional and punctual. We decided to go with Lake Wylie Lawn because they are local and relatively new business. Eric was helpful and he is supporting some local sports teams and other happenings in Lake Wylie. His scheduled day of service was perfect and we anticipate a long term relationship.

Description of Work: The initial contact was good. She called me back right away and was prompt on her estimate appointment. But here is where it goes bad. I told her I had an appointment and sorry to cut meeting short. She said ok and to call her. I tried calling her next day and left message, got no response back. Then I texted her and got no response back. I had my wife call her and she did call her back. I find this behavior very unprofessional and lacking in customer service.

I met with this client at the agreed upon time. Within 5 minutes I was asked to leave due to his house showing. Before leaving, I provided him a quote. He questioned me three times and stated my quote was half as much as previous quotes. He indicated he would phone me later and I left. The following Sunday I received a voice message from his wife regarding our services. Because we are closed on Sunday, I returned her phone call on Monday. At that time she informed me that they had selected another service. She said she would keep our contact info in the event the other service did not work out and thanked me for returning her call. Our office phone number does not receive text messages. The only voicemail I received was from the client's wife, which I returned. We were unaware of and regret missing any voicemails and/or text messages and would have appreciated the opportunity to be the client's lawn service provider.

Despite recent storms, my yard looks great. The owners are very honest , hardworking, and reliable people. I recommend them highly.
