Adam and his team were a pleasure to work with on this project. Our Stone patio had been installed incorrectly 8 years ago. It was dry laid on sand/pebbles and not pitched correctly. Water over the years had infiltrated the base and sunk the patio, not to mention water pooling on top of the stones in certain areas as it wasn’t pitched correctly. Adam’s team dug up the entire patio, poured a cement base, cut and refitted each stone perfectly. The finished product looks fantastic and we are thrilled with the craftsmanship. Since the cement foundation raises the patio up several inches you can see the beautiful kidney deign of the patio. Adam also poured a concrete pad which he painted for our BBQ grill to rest on which gets the grill off the patio for more room. We would not hesitate to contact Adam for any new projects and highly recommend him!

The original portion of the project was completed beyond my expectations. I was so happy with their outstanding work that I expanded the project to include a walkway and a parking pad. This project was completed as planned in two weeks at expected cost. The quality and workmanship is excellent! The crew came to work and departed each day with predictability I haven’t experienced in other projects. As project manager, Adam was great- professional and good communication. Overall, this project was well done and surprisingly easy for us as homeowners. I would recommend and hire again.

We selected Hardscapes in late July 2020, and they were able to do the work in January 2021. We knew upfront they had a waiting list. They built a 70 feet long retaining wall as the existing one was railroad ties and it was failing. The new wall looks excellent. It took about a week to do, and it was rough work since it had been raining consistently. I also requested them to redo our stairs in the same area. While I should be most impressed with the wall as it is fabulous, I really love the stairs. It was excellent work. The gentlemen working were all very nice and did a great job cleaning up every day. The neighbors even complimented on how thorough they were with clean up. The owner came to the site every day staying as long as was necessary each day managing the project and reviewing work that had been done and tweaking if he thought it was needed. He was also very easy to contact and responsive if he wasn't on site. The owner appears to take pride in his work which is a very positive attribute. While he was here since we were very happy with the end product we also had him quote us on some other possible projects. In short, while there is a decent wait time, it is definitely worth it.

We remodeled most of our house this past year since we were working from home and it was long overdue. We had a few decent contractors(and a few not so decent) but the best by far was Hardscapes LLC. Our backyard has a steep hill and the rain has eroded the hill over the years to the point of seeing a lot of tree roots. We also only had about 8 feet of usable yard past the patio that was pea gravel. Hardscapes came in and put a retaining wall that gave us 30 feet of usable yard and a concrete patio. The 5-6 man crew really took their time to make sure everything was done right. They made a mess out of the driveway and street as expected with multiple truckloads of dirt and gravel…but not only did they hose the driveway down, but all 5 guys took 2-3 hours to scrape the compacted dirt from the driveway and the street, and then hose down again. I was planning on buying a power washer when I was done, but it was not needed. And we made no request of the clean up. Adam just said that he hates to leave a mess. Adam was great to work with. Answered calls the same day from start to finish and never took more than an hour or so to answer a text….unheard of these days. It did take them a few months to get started because they were so busy but Adam was very up front about timelines and weather delays. We felt like we got a fair price for the work that was done compared to quotes that we have gotten in the past, but it was a fantastic price when you take into account the service. Adam conducts business the way EVERY contractor should. I just wish he did bathroom remodeling!

We were so happy with our project. We spoke with multiple companies before choosing Adam. We are so glad we chose them! The communication and attention to detail throughout were amazing!!! Could not be happier with the process and final product!!!

Our Hardscapes project consisted of construction of a concrete curb and paver strip along the front street side portion of our lawn followed by fescue sod in the front. Also installed were a large decorative stone wall and smaller stone wall in the front garden. Additionally, a short stone wall was constructed in the back garden. Entire project moved along smoothly & in impressive condensed time frame. We are thrilled with the aesthetics of the completed project, the fact that the labor crews have been with Hardscapes for a significant time and are treated like family, and also something that is increasingly rare in today’s hurried environment-good communication regarding weather delays, anticipated start dates, prompt response to questions & project design tweaks. It has been a pleasure working with Adam Simpson & the Hardscapes group.

It went great. Crew was so nice. They even put my new mailbox up. Adam communicated well. No surprises other than it turned out better than I had hoped.

We had a new patio installed at our home, with all the different companies available we elected to go with Hard Scapes LLC, I’m so glad we did!!! Adam came out on a Saturday morning to meet and give a quote, he was early which was great. I told him what I had in mind after listening to my ideas and taking a few measurements he suggested that we rounded the corners and adding a sitting wall. About 2 weeks later Adam sent me a text saying that his crew would be at my house the following morning at 7am. Adam and his crew arrived promptly at 7am and immediately began work. The end product was simply amazing the workers were friendly, courteous and professional. Adam was absolutely the best to work with. From our initial call until the job was completed, he was always available and always delivered on what he said he would do. Adam was not the cheapest bid we received but after meeting with him and discussing design ideas and the way he would complete the job, my wife and I knew we were getting what we were paying for. Adam after deciding to go with him met us at his brick supplier to walk my wife and I through various option for the patio and two walls. We were impressed with his knowledge and ideas for our space. We originally were going to stay with a similar paver we had but after this visit we went with an entirely different design, and boy are we glad. Adam and team showed up when they said they were going to and was great to work with. Even when we got into the project his team did some regrading that was necessary from a recently completed covered deck add-on, no questions asked!We even ended up adding a long walkway from our driveway back to the patio mid-project and Adam couldn’t have been more accommodating and again his eye for the design and look was slot on, it finishes it off! His crew is about as meticulous as I have ever seen. They made sure everything was sloped properly from house and was level in building both our sitting wall and our high wall. Hardscapes LLC and Adam is the only option when it comes to your hardscape needs. Great to work with a professional who meets no exceeds his commitments!

Adam and his team did a wonderful job! They had the regrading and patio done in less then a week and were able to help us within a few weeks of us getting in touch with them. We are really happy with the end product and our lawn is now no longer a swamp every time it rains! Would use their services again for future needs in a heartbeat!

We needed a landing pad at the bottom of our deck stairs put in, that we can build a patio on to down the road, and Adam delivered. We were able to get exactly what we were looking for, in an reasonable time frame, for cheaper than other quotes we had received. We definitely recommend Adam and his team for any of your hard scapes needs.

Adam and his team were wonderful! Adam was great at helping the extension of single-lane driveway fit into the overall exterior look of our home. He made insightful suggestions which I agreed to and I am so happy I did - it looks really balanced and have even had several neighbors come by to say how nice it looks and asked who did the quality job. Adam was always on-time - he showed up promptly when he set appointments with me and his crew was professional and cleaned up extremely well each day before heading off. Adam listened to my concerns and my husband's concerns about trying to save trees and paying attention to drainage and utilities. The final project is just grand ! Adam's price was very fair and the quality actually exceeded my expectations. Would certainly recommend Adam for any exterior project, knowledgeable and has an eye for balance and design.

Adam and his team did a tremendous job on our paver project. The project including a new front walkway leading up to our house, a paver walkway/trail creating a loop through our backyard (including a staircase), a stone patio, and a pea gravel fire pit area. The project took 2 weeks of incredibly hard work from Adam's team, and we were impressed that Adam came by each day (and sometimes multiple times a day) to monitor progress. Our front and backyards look absolutely beautiful and we would definitely recommend Hard Scapes to anyone looking to do a similar project.

Adam and his crew arrived on time and started setting up. The crew arrived the next day 7am the next morning and went right to work. His crew was awesome, they did a neat job, answered all my questions and cleaned up all the way to the street. They also moved my patio furniture, grill and smoker back onto patio when finished. Will hire again, when needed

The design and appearance turned out great. Adam helped with all facets and really pulled it together for us bringing our backyard to life and making it functional along the way. There were challenges that naturally come up in a project like ours and Adam and his fellow business partners took everything in stride, communicated often and clearly, and the results outstanding. I'd recommend to my friends and family. Be sure to also work with Tom Ratliff on structural components. He's terrific and works closely and very well with Adam's team.
